[Discussion] I f*cked up. We need to talk. Posted: 06 Apr 2018 12:03 PM PDT As most of you already know, MyTweak was scheduled to release at 10am EST today, April 6. Well, it didn't. I overestimated the f*ck out of this project and as many others have already said I overhyped it. And... that's true. All of it is true. Except for the fact that I did work hard - but for the wrong things. I focused more on the "advertising" rather than the actual development of this tweak. If you want to call BS, then go ahead. I won't stop you. Downvote this, hell, report me if you want to! But I want you all to know that I'm sorry for what I did. We've all made mistakes, but this one is definitely on me. All of it. I will be deactivating my twitter while I work this out, and hope to release (for real this time) in the next couple of weeks. This is the last time I'm saying this. [link] [comments]

[News] Futurerestore 11.0 - 11.2.6 Blobs are now unusable Posted: 06 Apr 2018 02:14 PM PDT 11.2.6 is no longer signed. Meaning no more SEP compatibility to restore to anything lower than 11.3 due to changes made to SEP by Apple. Those who haven't yet used futurerestore to update to the 11.0 - 11.1.2 jailbreak, it's now too late. RIP 11.0 - 11.2.6 blobs [link] [comments]

[Discussion] A new place to get updates from developers. Posted: 06 Apr 2018 11:33 PM PDT Due to the recent community changes between consumers and developers, our team has decided to start a website jbfocused.com. At this time it is not setup but we are setting it up as I post this. What will JBFocused?JBFocused will be a forum and informational website where developers can post Releases, Updates, News, and Announcements about their software without having to possibly deal with toxicity. Unlike reddit only developers will be able to post to this forum. The Division Between Developers and the Community.Tonight many developers announced that they were leaving the community due to toxicity, which mainly stemmed from this subreddit. JBFocused will not try to replace this sub, we just want a place where Developers can centralize their releases and see feedback from users. Only approved replies with legitamate questions and bug reports will be allowed to reply on a developers thread. These replies will be moderated 24/7 by the website moderators. This is in hopes to prevent toxicity and help developers see what the community is thinking. Wen ETA?http://jbfocused.com/ will be going live in the next week. If you go there now, it will most likely be parked as we are still working on it. A Note to DevsIf you are a developer and would like to use this website as a platform to promote your tweaks you can send me a PM or an email at auxilium.development.team@gmail.com or on twitter @AuxiliumDev. You will earn access to posting and be able to test the website early. We hope this helps developers find a way to promote their tweaks without the concequences of toxicity. Set a !remindme for 7 days and check back when the website is done! [link] [comments]

[discussion] battery draining has been fixed Posted: 06 Apr 2018 07:27 PM PDT Hi all, i saw many people in the community asking about battery draining, when I jailbroke my iPhone x i had no issues at all, but after i installed detailed power usage tweak, my battery started draining a lot, i was really surprised , I only have few tweaks. Realcc, anemone, cleardock, no substitute, ac2(theme) cylinder, detailedpowerusage. Ezcc, silo, that's it, so I deleted some tweaks but the battery still draining so fast, so I decided to delete detailed power usage, after I deleted it, the battery is normal, I unplugged my iPhone about 9 hours ago , I did not use it much, right now my battery is 82 % , I know this is unbelievable but this what happened, I just wanted to share this with you, and people who have battery draining, give it a try, delete detailed power usage and check your battery. Thanks for reading. [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Apr 2018 08:51 AM PDT You will need:1) The IPSW of your desired target iOS 11.x.x version 2) SHSH2 blobs for your desired target iOS 11.x.x version 3) The iOS 11.2.6 IPSW 4) Encounter's Futurerestore (Windows users get it from here, Mac OS X users get it from here) 5) A computer running Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac OS X 6) A reliable Internet connection If you are upgrading an iPhone or an iPad with cellular capabilities (with baseband), you will also need: 7) The IPSW of your current iOS version If you are on iOS 10.2.x or earlier, you will also need: 8) A Terminal app from Cydia or an SSH connection to your device If you are on iOS 10.3.x, you will also need: 9) The ipa file for arx8x's v0rtexNonce (link here) 10) Cydia Impactor (Windows users get it from here, Mac OS X users get it from here) Procedure:1) On computer: Create a folder on your Desktop for your upgrade. I named mine "Upgrade04052018." 2) On computer: Copy your 11.x.x IPSW, your SHSH2 blobs, and the futurerestore executable ("futurerestore.exe" on Windows or "futurerestore" on Mac OS X) to this Upgrade Folder. For iPhones and iPads with cellular capabilities (with baseband), use steps 3 through 8, then continue to step 9. For WiFi-only iPads or iPod touch 6, skip to step 9. 3) On computer: Navigate to the folder that contains the IPSW of your current iOS version. 4) On computer: Change the file extension on the IPSW to ZIP. 5) On computer: Extract the renamed IPSW. 6) On computer: Navigate into the "Firmware" folder of the extracted IPSW. 7) On device: Go to Settings -> General -> About and scroll down to Modem. Take note of the version number next to "Modem." 8) On computer: Find the .bbfw file in the "Firmware" folder that contains the Modem version number from your device. Take note of the prefix that comes before the version number. Mine was ICE16. Continue to step 9. 9) On computer: Navigate to the folder that contains the iOS 11.2.6 IPSW. 10) On computer: Change the file extension on the IPSW to ZIP. 11) On computer: Extract the renamed IPSW. For iPhones and iPads with cellular capabilities (with baseband), use steps 12 through 14, then continue to step 15. For WiFi-only iPads or iPod touch 6, skip to step 15. 12) On computer: Navigate into the "Firmware" folder of the extracted iOS 11.2.6 IPSW. 13) On computer: Find the .bbfw file that contains the prefix you just took note of. In my case it was "ICE16-2.02.04-Release.bbfw." 14) On computer: Copy this .bbfw file to the folder designated for your upgrade that you created in step 1. Continue to step 15. 15) On computer: Navigate to the folder where your SHSH2 blob file is. 16) On computer: Take note of the filename. At some point in the filename, after your device's ECID number, there will be your device's model identifier, which begins with "iPhone," "iPad," or "iPod," and after that, your board configuration identifier, which will be similar in format to "d101ap." Take note of the board configuration identifier. 17) On computer: Navigate back to the folder where the extracted iOS 11.2.6 IPSW is located. 18) On computer: Copy "BuildManifest.plist" to the Upgrade Folder that you created. 19) On computer: Now, in the extracted IPSW folder, go into the "Firmware" folder, and then into the "all_flash" folder. 20) On computer: Find the "sep-firmware" file ending in .im4p that contains the part of your board configuration identifier before the "ap." My SEP firmware file was "sep-firmware.d101.RELEASE.im4p" for board configuration identifier "d101ap." 21) On computer: Copy this .im4p file to the Upgrade Folder. 22) On computer: Open your shsh2 blob file with Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac OS X (the blobs are in an xml plist format) 23) On computer: To find your nonce generator: Go to Edit -> Find in Notepad/TextEdit (or press Control-F on Windows or Command-F on Mac OS X) and type in "generator" (without quotes). 24) On computer: The nonce generator, which is a random hexadecimal number that looks similar in format to "0xba97978acf8b7ba5" (which was my nonce generator) will be next to or below the word "generator." Write down this nonce generator. 25) On computer: Navigate to your Upgrade Folder. Double-check that you have the following: a. Your iOS 11.x.x IPSW b. Your SHSH2 blob file c. The Futurerestore executable file ("futurerestore.exe" on Windows or just "futurerestore" on Mac OS X) d. BuildManifest.plist e. sep-firmware.<boardconfigid>.plist f. <prefix>-<version>.Release.bbfw (iPhone/iPad WiFi+Cellular only) 26) Plug your device into your computer. For devices running iOS 10.3.x, use steps 27 through 36, then go to step 39. For devices running iOS 10.2.x or earlier, use steps 37 through 38, then continue to step 39. 27) On computer: Rename the v0rtexNonce.zip file extension to .IPA. 28) On computer: Open Cydia Impactor. 29) On computer: Go to Device -> Install Package. 30) On computer: In the dialog box, choose the ipa file of v0rtexNonce that you had downloaded. 31) On computer: Enter your Apple ID and your password. When possible, use an app-specific password. 32) On computer: v0rtexNonce should appear on your home screen. 33) On device: Open v0rtexNonce. It is an app with an icon made up of a thin black X and thin circles overlaid on a white background. 34) On device: The app will likely crash on the first try and might show a black screen and reboot the phone. Keep opening the app and, when needed, keep rebooting the phone. This process may take a long time. v0rtexNonce will succeed when there is a nonce generator on the screen under "Current Generator." 35) On device: When the app succeeds, tap on the "Set Generator" text field and type in the nonce generator that was found in your SHSH2 blob file. 36) On device: A "Success" dialog box should appear. Skip to step 39. 37) Open the terminal app on your device or SSH to your device from your computer. 38) Type in: Press Return. Enter your root password (by default it is "alpine" without quotes") followed by Return. Now type: Do not press Return. After the "=" type in the nonce generator that was found in your SHSH2 blob file. Now press Return. Type: and press Return. You should see that your nonce generator that you just specified was outputted again to the screen next to "com.apple.System.boot-nonce." Continue to step 39. 39) On computer: Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac OS X) 40) On computer: Type in: Press Enter/Return Press Enter/Return 41) On Mac OS X computers only: Type in: Press Return 42) On Mac OS X computers only: Type in this for an iPhone or iPad WiFi+Cellular: or this for an iPad WiFi only or an iPod touch 6: and press Return. 43) On Windows computers only: Type in this for an iPhone or iPad WiFi+Cellular: or this for an iPad WiFi only or an iPod touch: and press Enter. 44) Wait a few minutes. Your device's screen should turn black and you should see lots of text output on your computer screen. When you see "Done: restoring succeeded." on your computer screen, you have successfully erased your device and upgraded it to iOS 11.x.x! UPGRADE ASAP BEFORE THE SEP SIGNING WINDOW CLOSES IN A FEW DAYS! Get your IPSWs from ipsw.me. [Help] Futurerestore with 32-bit device Posted: 06 Apr 2018 04:21 PM PDT Hello! I'm trying to use futurerestore r173 to restore my iPhone 4S down to 7.0.4. I got SHSH and futurerestore seems to accept it. But when it goes to recovery mode, it gives me error: [Error] Devicenonce does not match APTicket nonce I've looked at my SHSH file and there's no "generator" field in it. How do I find nonce? [Edit] I did google a bit and google says, a SHSH file won't have a nonce field if it was saved with specific nonce. My SHSH file was saved with TinyUmbrella. Anyone knows what nonce it used? Posted: 06 Apr 2018 05:23 PM PDT When I use PuTTY or WinSCP to try and SSH into my phone, it just says connection refused. I am using Electra. Is there some sort of command I can enter into terminal to restart OpenSSH or something? I tried rebooting and rejailbreaking but the error still occurs. Thanks [link] [comments]
