Can someone please help me with this, cause I can't figure it out? I found one solution online which said to use the passcode "123456", which I did and it said that that was the wrong passcode. :/ https://imgur.com/a/Cdpe3

iPhone 8+ with a slight bend — screen peeling off

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 11:39 AM PST

I bought an 8+ a few weeks back, and the phone has become bent with regular wear and tear. I have never dropped this phone and never done anything to bend it, and there are no fractures to the front or glass back. I brought the phone to my carrier (US Cellular) and an Apple Store within my carrier's 15 day excellence guarantee and my carrier said this was in Apple's wheel house, as it appears to be a manufacturing defect.

I brought it to Apple and they said they had never seen anything like it, but I obviously damaged the phone. I tried to argue that I did nothing to it and, even though they remarked that there was no visible damage but a bend where there should be no bend, they wouldn't move from "we have never seen this before".

Now, my screen is peeling back off the upper right corner, and I'm no longer under any carrier guarantee. I've heard of lesser, more human-error claims being taken care of by Apple — my question is, as my phone is currently too fucked to do self-repair, do I just go in and not be a pushover/get a lil' angry about it to get any corrective action?

Again, I wouldn't be considering this if the phone was bent because of an accident/deliberate action. I truly think, as well as my carrier, that the material used in the outer edge is outside of Apple's manufacturing standards.

imessage - details opens compose, can only send one text, back button displays edit.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 09:22 AM PST

IPhone 6 Plus. After the update to 11.2.5 the iMessage details button (small i in a circle below battery) no longer brings up location, phone and photos, it opens compose new message instead.

Also, I can only send one text to a person. If I want to reply again I have to go back to the iMessage list and choose their name again.

The back button in iMessage sometimes brings up the word edit in a box instead of going back to the list of messages.

I have erased and reset the phone like it is a new phone, then did the upgrade to 11.2.6 and problem still exists.
