| How to download full-resolution photos from iCloud back onto iPhone? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 07:23 PM PST I have an iPhone 6s running iOS 11.2.5. I've selected the "Optimize Photo Storage" option to save on space on my phone. But this means that all the photos in my camera roll are always blurry -- which sucks because I'm unable to show them to people or post them anywhere. Is there any way to force-download the full-resolution version of an optimized photo? Especially when I'm connected to wifi, it doesn't make sense to me that there's no way to see the full-res photo on my phone without turning off that option and therefore re-downloading every single photo in full resolution. I just keep clicking on the little exclamation mark to no avail... [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 12 Feb 2018 02:55 PM PST So probably a few days ago my iphone 7+ battery inicator has been showing 1% but I know it has alot more battery. So I power down the phone, turn it back on and boom its back to 80% battery indicator or whatever percentage it"s supposed to be. Any idea how to fix this? [link] [comments]  |

| Turning message settings to off? Posted: 12 Feb 2018 07:39 AM PST I want to stop receiving any text messages. In fact I want to stop any incoming outreach to my phone except one number (my door system uses a telecom that comes through as a phone call). If I turn the settings in Message off, will this temporarily stop texts from getting through? I don't want to just turn off my data service/disconnect my phone service. I just want to temporarily drop off the radar (and still receive door buzzer for my Amazon packages). (When I try to google this question I just see a lot of questions from people who want to make sure they CAN still receive texts, not people wanting to stop texts) [link] [comments]  |
| Odd combination of issues with iPhone 7 - advice needed Posted: 12 Feb 2018 01:57 AM PST Within the last week the following had happened to my phone: -when headphones are plugged in the sound still plays through the speakers 90% of the time -unable to make or receive calls as there is only silence on the line -when answering or making a call if the speaker button is chosen it will turn off itself after about five seconds. Cannot hear any sounds on the line regardless of whether speaker is activated or not -when the google app is opened the phone will freeze and the only way to continue is to lock the phone and close the app once it's unlocked. I can still make and receive calls with sound on my Apple Watch and on WhatsApp or Viber. Should I try and get this repaired or is it a lost cause? The phone is out of warranty by 12 days :( [link] [comments]  |
