It's a little bit complicated to understand so I will give an example : I'm scrolling a page on safari -> I receive a message , go to the app and respond -> when I go back to safari the app refresh. this happen to all the apps!! | iphone SE6, issues with apps having permission to access the camera & photos, started this morning Posted: 13 Feb 2018 03:35 PM PST EDIT2: well updating it fixed the problem sorry to bother y'all iupload photos of my traditional art from my phone to my computer to draw over them, so i kinda need this. this morning, my iphone randomly wouldn't let me. i was going to show pictures but i just realized i can't. Fuck basically, i open an app, let's say snapchat, and it asks me to give permission to use the camera, and provides a button to take me to settings. this button sure does take me to settings. but it doesn't have an option to turn on camera / photo permission. i tried going to privacy, clicking on both the photo & camera apps through there, but it says no apps have requested permission to use these features. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps. i'm putting off the update, so i haven't restarted my phone. apple help site made zero sense & i couldn't figure out how to use it, so here i am, help EDIT: also, unrelated but also this morning; none of my contacts i've texted have names anymore? they're still there when i go to my contacts app, but not when i'm in my imessage app. dunno if that has anything to do with it but figured i'd mention [link] [comments]  |

However, whenever I send images over cellular, it sends low quality images. Why is this happening? I want it to send full size photos. Currently I can only seem to do this if I am sending the same photo over wifi. Very frustrating! Especially since the setting is turned to off. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 7 Plus Connection Issues (both WiFi and Cellular) Posted: 13 Feb 2018 01:43 PM PST For the last few months, I've had horrible issues with my iPhone' 7+'s connection. Despite sufficient bars on WiFi or cellular, websites and apps often timeout. Sometimes I will see the circle status indicator continuously spinning and other times it doesn't. I notice the most in Safari but happens also in apps such as a few games I play like Pokémon Go and Crunch Time. My son has a crappy pre-paid Samsung with same carrier, AT&T, and he doesn't experience the same issues when we, for instance, play Pokémon Go together. If I'm on WiFi, the quickest fix is to turn it off. When I'm cellular, if I'm home, I turn on WiFi otherwise I either have to wait or force close and reopen the app to fix it. I've already tried resetting my network settings as well as doing a complete refresh but without any change. I've turned off background refresh on almost everything but the few apps I need it for as well as location services. WiFi assist is turned off. I'm wondering if it started happening with 11 or one of the updates for it. Lastly, I noticed a bunch of apps had the following errors in the Analytics reports. From what I could tell (and I could be wrong) but it does seem related to a connection drop but I don't know if these reports can even give any insight into my issues. Below is the error I see for all of the apps starting as earlier as October 5th (couldn't find any reports older)
Right now I'm doing a test where I have the WiFi disabled via the settings in the event it's trying to connect to some old hotspot or something (though when it times out on cellular, I don't see the WiFi indicator unless it tried and couldn't connect?). Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find an app that will continually log my connection info to help diagnose this either. [link] [comments]  |
