    Well, the time has come. Introducing MyTweak+.

    A custom made, easy-to-use tweak for the upcoming iOS 11 jailbreak is coming in the near future.

    Make .app files, tweaks, and more with a simple UI-based text editor made specially for MyTweak+.

    All you have to do is press the + button and you can get started on your tweak/app.

    Some of my opinions from today since I don't want to re-open my twitter:

    1. Completely agree with @iTwe4kz' opinion on what's going on

      Original public release date estimate was actually 2/20/2018, however it has been delayed since we now have to deal with potential bugs people could have as RC 1.2 had known bugs that are not easily automatically fixable without a restore.

      (No, not disclosing the new estimated date as I don't know when I plan on getting back to working on it; taking a break for now)

      People complaining really takes the fun out of making Electra :(

      (Which was why I orignally started working on Electra, since I found it fun)

    2. @YaluJB on twitter is literal cancer

    3. It's been a lot nicer and quieter not being on twitter. Finally some peace and quiet..

    [Tutorial] Almost lost my jailbreak thanks to the new text exploit but I managed to fixed it!

    So I was chilling on school a couple of hours ago and a friend of mine decided to send me that horrible text that bricks your phone. I'm running iOS 11.1.1 and when I got the message I turned my phone on and it just got stuck on a boot loop, I was freaked out to say the least, I knew that the only solution was to restore or update and that would make jailbreaking my phone impossible so I had to take some measures. I first went with my friend who sent that message through WhatsApp and kicked his ass, I then asked for another friend of mine to lend me his phone.

    I took my SIM card and placed it on the other phone I then installed WhatsApp and deleted the chat containing that horrible message, afterwards I placed my SIM card back in my phone and prayed for it to work, and it did! I'm still happily running iOS 11.1.1 with no issues whatsoever.

    I did crap my pants though....

    Self explanatory tweak. Can be turned on and off from settings. It doesn't work with all apps currently unfortunately, because i haven't been able to figure out UIKit variables for running apps on fullscreen yet. I'll be updating it once i figure it out.

    [Discussion] Just had a bootloop from the Telugu character!

    I didnt install the fix thinking none of my friends would know about it and send it to me but guess i was wrong. Saw my phone lit up, saw the character and said "wait, why is my phone still alive? maybe it didnt break my phone somehow!". Turns out im wrong again. As soon as i touched it, it bootlooped. Anyways thank god i fixed it using futurerestore windows fork v173 using this tutorial. The biggest loss is my photos from last 2 months man.. Just another heads up that you should install a fix RIGHT NOW.

    [Tutorial] Permanent Telugu Character Fix - For Jailbroken Devices | Stop your friends

    Hello everybody!

    I know that this solution was already posted here, but I want to post it again, because some people still don´t know about it. Here is simple solution to stop your friend crashing your phone:

    • First open some file manager with root access (Like Filza or iFile)

    • Go to /System/Library/Fonts/Core/

    • Search for KohinoorTelugu.ttc

    • Rename its suffix (or delete it)

    • Restart and you are done

    Now the character should appear rectangle or question mark. You are done!

    [Tutorial] Stuck in respring loop after getting a text with the Telugu text but managed to recover from it

    So this morning my gf got a text on FB messenger with the infamous Telugu character that threw it into a respring loop. The phone would respring straight after unlocking it but after a few minutes of playing around with it I found that for some reason it didn't happen when I went into the lockscreen camera, tapped on that gallery icon in the bottom left and then "All photos". It didn't respring and I could rejailbreak with electra. Then SSH'd into the phone and renamed the font file. I'm not sure what happened here but it worked so it might help someone else too.

    I ran a poll about what the overall stance is on paid jailbreaks, especially with some claiming that this will be the last jailbreak. If this were the case, and no one was interested in developing an iOS 12 JB, would the community consider setting up a bounty of our own to incentivise developers? Would the community consider paying for a jailbreak at all?

    • 58% said they would pay for a JB, even if piracy was an option
    • 30% said they would pirate it if they could
    • 10% said they wouldn't pay and wouldn't pirate it

    • A total of 60% would consider using a bounty or GoFundMe
    • (39% said they would now, 21% percent if there were no active developers)
    • 14% said it would reduce quality, 16% don't trust bounties and 10 won't/can't pay

    • A total of 27% said they would use Patreon
    • (17% said they would now, 10% only if there were no active developers)
    • 72% wouldn't use Patreon because 48% don't like it, 8% think it would reduce quality, 9% can't/don't want to pay, 6% don't know what it is

    • 57% pay for tweaks if they have to
    • 18% pay for tweaks and donate to developers
    • 10% don't use paid tweaks
    • 14% pirate paid tweaks

    What this suggests:

    This suggests that if developers decided it was too difficult and costly for them to develop jailbreak tools, and they'd rather be paid to submit their work to the Apple bounty program, we could setup a bounty or GoFundMe in order to incentivise developers to continue their work.

    Of course, being patient and giving developers space is also important.

    I'm still rocking my pebble smartwatch and there used to be a tweak for activator. Is there anything that can make my experience with a pebble and an iPhone better from cydia these days? I haven't found anything other than the orignal tweak.

    I didn't think it would happen. I was sitting in my school cafeteria as I opened my messages. I saw it. I saw the dreaded Indian character. I tried to swipe to delete it and boom iMessage disappeared at the blink of an eye. My heart sunk as I realized what I had done. Rage flurried through my head as my bad day just turned worse because of an impatient Craigslist user.
