[Discussion] iOS 11.3 Beta 1 Performance & Stability Update

Hi everyone,

After the release of iOS 11.2.5 and iOS 11.3 Beta 1 last week, I wanted to check in on r/iOSBeta and check how the performance, stability and battery life is in your iOS device.

I am using an iPhone 8 in this beta and it's been smooth, responsive and battery life has been excellent. Keeping in mind that the iPhone 8 is the newest device that Apple's offering this is expected and I expect nothing less. If you're using an older device like an iPhone 5s or iPad Air, how's everything doing?

I am exited to see the iOS Dynamic Performance switch activated in beta 2, which as might see tomorrow or on Tuesday.

I hope your iOS 11 experience is going well!

[Bug] Anyone else’s App Store drains 20-40% of their battery in 2 mins?

Am on iOS 11.2.5 and I have noticed the App Store draining around 20-40% of my battery in 2 mins!? This doesn't happen that often but it's happened to me at least 3 times for the past 2 or 3 weeks. The battery settings says the source of battery drain is audio and the on screen time is 2 mins? Am using an iPhone 7.

I think since I've updated to 11.3 I've been prompted to authenticate my Apple ID at least five times...

Is anyone else experiencing this. I've restarted my iPhone since the update but it's still happening.
