| Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:37 AM PST In the TV App, all Movies are thrown in there without any separation. In the movies app, it will separate them by genre. But I think there should be a whole bunch of different ways to search your movies, by director, actor, music, etc. Also by strange organizational topics. I personally would be thrilled if they had an old 80s or 90s video store kind of a feel that you could kind of mosey through while looking for a movie. Like in a 3D room. All the freakin badass hardware is sitting there in the box, waiting to be used... I wonder if I could develop an app like that if it does not exist? [link] [comments]  | ||

But will it also show the Super Bowl commercials? I watched one playoff game a few weeks ago on itand it just showed a few commercials repeatedly instead of the real ones. | tvOS 11.3 won’t play any music Posted: 04 Feb 2018 11:36 AM PST I'm having the same issue as others have posted about the play/pause button not working but I'm also unable to play any music from my library or Apple Music no matter how I select a song. If I select a song it takes me to the "Now Playing" screen with a music note album artwork and the text "Not Playing". Anyone else have this issue or now how to fix it? So what I want to do is: add the WiFi password to my iCloud Keychain through my iPhone or Mac, then plug my "headless" Apple TV through Ethernet and wait for it to sync. Is this possible? Or the keychain don't work with Apple TV? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Some questions about Apple TV 4K Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:42 AM PST I have been eyeing an Apple TV 4K for a few months now, ever since I bought my 4K TV. It's a Toshiba TV, and I'm pretty sure it does HDR. The Chromecast that is built in has been fine, but unreliable. I enjoyed being able to use Plex to stream from my iMac in the other room. Currently I am using an ageing PS3 for streaming. It works, but it's slow. Is the Apple TV fast when switching apps? Can I quickly switch between YouTube and Netflix? Can I easily stream/share content from my iMac? I know I can use Plex, but is there another method out of the box? As a Canadian, are there any streaming services, free or otherwise, that I would be able to take advantage of? Depending on the responses, I may pick up one today. I have DV turned on in the ATV settings as well as both "match" settings turned on. Every time I turn the system on, I get the "Let's get you the best picture" screen asking me if I want to try Dolby Vision. Why does this keep coming up and how can I make it remember my settings? Can I use the USB-C slot on the Apple TV 4th Generation in the same way as the USB-C slot on my MacBook Pro?
