Would an iPhone 4 screen be compatible with an iPhone 4S? Posted: 20 Jan 2018 05:36 PM PST I have an iPhone 4 (model A1332) with broken buttons, and an iPhone 4S (model A1387) with a broken screen. I want to take off the screen from the iPhone 4, and put it into the iPhone 4S, but I'm not sure if they are compatible. Does anyone know for sure if the two would be compatible? Many thanks. New iphone x constantly disconnecting - reconnecting to PC Posted: 20 Jan 2018 03:37 PM PST I just bought a new X, and am trying to sync it to my PC thru itoons on windows 10. It starts the sync process, but disconnects before completing. Itoons gives me an error that the phone isn't recognized, but then starts the sync again. The cycle lasts about 2 minutes, and seems to fail on step 6 or 7 of 7. I've tried using the lightning cord it came with, and the cord my old phone used this morning. they both have the same issue. Phone repair store broke phone even more, what can I do? Posted: 20 Jan 2018 02:26 PM PST Hi! I had cracked my glass on my iPhone seven and brought it to a phone repair store. They replaced the home screen and broke the home button in the process, and can't replace the home button. He gave it back to me in worse condition than I got it. What can I do? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 20 Jan 2018 09:57 AM PST For example: If I want to text "Tom", it auto-populates all group messages I've had with him as a recipient rather than just his number. I have to scroll down as much as 10-20 groups to find just "Tom" and/or delete other numbers so that I only text him. [link] [comments] |
Problem Restoring iPhone 6 from itunes (Error 3600) Posted: 20 Jan 2018 01:13 PM PST I am trying to restore my iphone 6 through itunes. Posted: 20 Jan 2018 12:08 PM PST Hi, i bought a iphone X just a month ago now and i took it out the case to clean for once. i took it out and i did not realise this was an issue until then but when i was cleaning it that i could hear a creaking noise when i applied pressure to the apple logo area or the sides of the phone or on the back around the top right of the phone. it basically creaks and seems to be coming from that area. Has anyone else experienced this? i think it could be due to the wireless charging coil inside puffing up due to me using it everyday. suggestions or if anyone could try this with their X that would be appreciated. thanks [link] [comments] |

iPhone and Bluetooth connectivity Posted: 20 Jan 2018 11:16 AM PST Hi there, I had issues before with my iPhone 6, but after switching to an 8 plus it is even worse. My IPhone just won't connect to my Bluetooth devices. It's a huge pita, whenever i start my car I have to go to settings and manually reconnect to my car audio (alpine). What's wrong with iOS and Bluetooth? Is this a known thing? With my iPhone 6 it was hit or miss, one time it worked, the other time it did not. Thanks for any help [link] [comments] |
iPhone 6s + always has me press/hold down real hard for screen to work/turn on. Posted: 20 Jan 2018 10:36 AM PST My iPhone 6s + screen has been popping out so I went to a kiosk in a mall, they fixed the cracked screen but the same issue kept happening. I always have to push down really hard or hold the front and back of the phone where the back camera is in order for the phone to light up. WHO CAN I PAY TO FIX THIS SIMPLE ISSUE. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 20 Jan 2018 02:49 AM PST The mic only works in the default camera app which indicates that the mic is still working. In all other apps it's not working. Tried factory reset with no result. [link] [comments] |
My iPhone added incorrect country codes to all my numbers while I was overseas! Posted: 20 Jan 2018 01:36 AM PST Recently I visited South Africa and used a South African SIM card while I was there. Most of my contacts didn't have the Australian country code on them (they just had a zero), but that was not a problem, as I didn't call any Australian numbers while I was there. I have now returned to Australia, re-entered my Australian sim card and now when I look at my contacts, every mobile number has a South African country code on it, even though none of the contacts are South African numbers! The only way I can think to fix this is to manually change the country code back on all of my hundreds of contacts. Anyone know why this may have happened, or an easier way to fix this? I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 11.2.1 Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Woke up with iPhone 7 stuck in recovery mode today Posted: 20 Jan 2018 12:27 AM PST I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 11.2.2. Was working as normal last night. Didn't do anything out of the ordinary last night, except install a QR code reading app from the App Store, and then read just one QR code that was found within a legitimate copy of a steam game that contained only text showing a secret button combo for the game, no links. This morning I find my iPhone stuck on the recovery screen, with the symbol indicating I should plug it into iTunes and the text 'support.apple.com/iphone/restore' at the top. Have tried holding vol down + sleep for 15 seconds. Reboots to same screen. Should I plug it in like it says or is it an elaborate virus trying to find it's way into my computer? Am I just being paranoid? (¬_¬) [link] [comments] |
