    [Tutorial] How to install Filza with Meridian

    Yo folk. I never needed to use Filza personally, so I didn't bundle it directly with Meridian. But it's actually really easy to install, so I figured I'd drop you guys a guide. 4 steps; you ready?

    Prerequisites:
    - An iDevice jailbroken with Meridian
    - Your iDevice running in a jailbroken state (with SSH running)
    - An SSH client (whether that's an App Store app, Windows PC/Putty, or a Mac)

    Guide:

    1) SSH into your device. You can do this from on-device, via an app like Terminus, or on Windows with Putty, or on OSX using the built-in ssh. Make sure to use port 2222 (that's 4x 2's)!

    2) Download the .tar with the following command: wget dl.sparko.me/Filza.tar -O /meridian/Filza.tar
    This will download the .tar and save it under the /meridian folder.

    3) Extract the .tar to /Applications with the following command: tar -xf /meridian/Filza.tar -C /Applications
    This will extract the Filza.tar (containing Filza.app) to your applications folder.

    4) Run uicache. This updates SpringBoard and will present Filza on your homescreen.

    Enjoy!

    Note: Filza is missing a few daemons so writing directly to / isn't allowed, but you should be able to write to most other areas of the filesystem.

    [Tip] You can use Termius from the App Store to access a terminal if you are jailbroken and have ssh enabled

    There are several SSH apps on the App Store, but Termius is my favourite and it's my recommendation, but this should still work with any other SSH apps (though I haven't tested them myself).

    Once you've downloaded the app, simply do the following:

    1. Add a new host
    2. Set the alias to whatever you want, and set the hostname to localhost
    3. Set the port to 2222
    4. Set the username to root, and the enter the root password (alpine by default).

    It should look like this. Hope this makes it a lot easier for anyone who wants a terminal on their own devices, this should work with any jailbreak that has SSH enabled. I personally like this app more than MTerminal due to its functionality and ease of use, but that's just my opinion. Enjoy!

    Edit: port 2222 works for Coolstar's Electra jailbreak, if it doesn't work for other jailbreaks use port 22 instead

    Today I Spent a good 15 min trying to download a .strings file until a friend came with a real old half working android device and downloaded it for me. This made me feel really sad and regret ever upgrading to ios 11 from ios 9 and missing the downgrade window.

    [Tutorial]Guide to restoring Ipad Pro 9.7 (WIFI Only) from IOS 11.1.2 to ios 11.1.2 (Some info here might help with other devices)

    THIS GUIDE IS FOR IPAD 9.7 PRO WIFI MODEL SPECIFICALLY, some info here is helpful generally and appears to have not been included for broader guides. The major difference in this guide is "no baseband" for futurerestoring which is only applicable to ios device with no cellular capability. This guide may or may not work for other device of this nature. Only futurerestore if you have backed up your files, have time to spare, have technical skill or comfortablility to perform the task. Sorry for probably messy tutorial (first time doing this)

    Prerequisite 7zip/WinRAR or any unpacker software, notepad++, ITunes probably, Julio's NonceSet112 .ipa , Encounter's futurerestore, iOS 11.1.2 .ipsw , Blobs/shsh2 (blobs.shsh2)

    Steps 1.install iTunes if you don't have it 2.Connect your iPad to your pc - make sure its actually there by checking iTunes 3.install NonceSet112 ipa using cydia impactor - drag the nonceset ipa file onto the window of cydia impactor It will ask for username and password-if you have two factor security, you have to make a app specific password through this link - https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin - log in and do it

    4.open your blob/shs2 file (using notepad++ through right click and then choose notepad++) and search for generator and copy string - shoud look something like this =0x1234567890 5.Paste copied string in NonceSet112 app 6.Unpack the futurerestore zip file 7.copy shsh2 file and .ipsw file files in same folder where you unpacked futurerestore 7.Do not run futurerestore exe file, it will run and then close automatically, you have to use futurerestore through window's own command prompt. Open command prompt with "run as administrator" 8.CD to your folder with all your files - This essentially means you want the command prompt to target the folder with all your stuff(just how its works) if you type "cd\" in command prompt, it will go to your c drive, to make it easier for you to target your folder, first move your folder with all the stuff to your c drive where your program files (x86) and stuff are and then name it something simple like "hello" and then type "cd\hello". This will popup in command prompt to indicate it worked 9.After this copy this onto the command prompt (excluding quotation marks) to start futurerestore "futurerestore -w -t blob.shsh2 --no-baseband --latest-sep ios.ipsw" Press enter and let it start, do not disconnect ipad while this occurs.

    This has "no baseband" because wifi models of ipad which is what most people probably own, do not have a baseband which is only for cellular devices(4G/3G and Phone calls etc capabilities)
