    Snapchat Notification Issues

    Hey everyone! This is a pretty simple and straightforward post: is anyone else having issues with Snapchat notifications on the Watch? For reference, I have a Series 3 38 mm with GPS, watchOS 4.2, and my phone is running the latest iOS.

    My issues include: receiving Snapchat notifications on my watch while using my unlocked phone, and not receiving notifications at all from certain people. It just seems to be very hit or miss, and as Snapchat is the app I use by far the most, this is rather annoying. Just seeing if anyone else is dealing with this.

    Dark Sky vs. Carrot Weather

    Do people still use Dark Sky? Everyone on this sub seems to love Carrot. Wondering what opinions are, pros/cons of both.

    Having to pay $5 up front for Carrot and a $2.50 subscription before you get to try it puts me off a bit. Wish there was a free trial. The snarkiness seems fun but I really just want something that's going to let me know it's raining, or forecast to rain that day, before I leave the house or go out to lunch.

    Functionally, is there much difference between the two? Is Carrot all around better?

    Why can I not make a Facetime Audio call from my watch?

    I've converted almost everyone I know to Facetime Audio because of the incredible call quality. Got a watch, and there's no way to do that natively. When I'm wearing my airpods, half the time the "hand off" doesn't properly work and I'm stumbling the find my phone.

    Will 3rd party workout apps that contribute to activity rings overwrite the built in workout app?

    This morning I tried out a workout app that offers a complimentary watch app (Gym log +). So far I have been using the built in workout app to track my strength training. So I used the app on my phone as a log (which integrates with health/activity) but I also started a workout with the built in app on the watch. Reviewing the data it looks like both were recorded but only the third party app is counting towards my rings (which is fine I only want one or the other). Is this the expected behavior? Even though tracking strength training is far from accurate I feel like the numbers from the Apple app are more reliable.

    Can't sync photos to the watch properly?

    I can sync 25 or even 100 but if I choose 250 or 500 i'll just get loads of little grey boxes and no matter how long I leave it, it wont sync.

    I've tried unpairing and repairing, tried different albums, tried switching on and off, also tried rebooting both the watch and the phone, and both are in charge while syncing.

    any ideas guys? Is it an OS bug?

    Losing a charge pretty quickly

    I know this has been asked a 100 times so here's one more. I'm noticing that my watch isn't lasting 2 days like most of y'all say. Just last night I charged it to 60% and when I woke up this morning it was at 43%. And I'm sleeping with theater mode on. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Even when I charge it to 100%, within a couple hours it's down to 65-70%.

    If it is a faulty watch and I need to take it to Apple, is it gonna cost me anything? I got it for Christmas and I don't have Apple care. Thanks
