| Any update to multiple Bluetooth audio connections? Posted: 13 Jan 2018 06:00 PM PST My wife and I are finally able to put our <1 year old child to sleep and want to watch a movie without disturbing them. Seems like there are plenty of cheap Bluetooth transmitters that can connect two Bluetooth devices but all of them that I've seem use a 3.5 jack (which I wouldn't be too happy using anyways considering the Apple TV price point). However she needs the City TV app and the Global TV apps (as her shows are mostly on those channels). Can anyone confirm if those apps are available on the Apple TV 4K AND if they are, the apps don't require a cable tv subscription to view/log in? Thanks in advance [link] [comments]  |
| AppleTV Stuttering/Choppy Playback Posted: 13 Jan 2018 02:29 PM PST I have an AppleTV 4th Gen. It worked flawlessly from release up until about a month ago. When using Netflix or the Amazon Prime Video app, I get choppy video playback. When I go to another video app, Youtube, a purchased movie, or a local news app I use, everything is fine. I have removed/reinstalled the apps and verified the tvOS is up to date.. I have tried a hardwire ethernet connection, I even restored the unit and reinstalled everything. It is still choppy. | Netflix 5.1 settings not there? Posted: 14 Jan 2018 12:02 AM PST I have an Xbox One and an ATV 4K. On the Xbox when im in a movie/episode on Netflix and select audio I get alot of options, like English and English 5.1. However, on the ATV it isn't there. There's just English (and other languages if available). Netflix support page says that this is where you enable 5.1 on a ATV4, but I dont see the option. Is it the same for everyone or just for me? | Posted: 13 Jan 2018 02:02 PM PST Morning, Has anyone else had issues with the Apple TV 4K not working on 4K screens. Netflix for example will just give blue or pink screens or black with sound but no video. Restarting sometimes fixes it but doesn't normally. And even infuse can show the same issues. I have 2 Apple TV (1x 4K and one previous gen) swapping them around and the problem goes away. Anyone else had this? [link] [comments]  |
| Remote not controlling tv volume Posted: 13 Jan 2018 05:22 AM PST I have a TCL 55C803 with my ATV4k connected to the arc hdmi port. On my last tv, ATV auto discovered how to control volume and stuff on my tv but that didn't happen on this one. I cannot figure out how to get it to sync. Does anybody have any ideas? The first bunch of google results don't work. I've turned on all of the CEC options on the tv, and it recognizes the ATV as a hdmi 3 CEC device. It will also switch the input to the ATV when I press the ATV remote. Just no damn volume control. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 13 Jan 2018 09:52 AM PST I just got an Apple TV 4K, and saw all of my movies that I now have access to in 4K. (Some include Wonder Woman, Spider-Man Homecoming, the Martian, etc.) But one movie that hadn't upgraded to its 4K version was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Why is that? How do I get it to upgrade to the 4K version? If I need to buy it again in 4K; how? [link] [comments]  |
