Unlocked iPhone 6 gets locked after restoring to factory settings! Posted: 29 Oct 2017 12:00 AM PDT About 1 1/2 years ago I unlocked my iPhone 6 originally from T mobile through DoctorSim. Everything worked fine until today, when I decided to restore my phone to factory settings and update to iOS 11. Now it wont read my SIM card and I cant get past the activation screen. Anybody had a similar problem? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
Unlocked iPhone 6s randomly drops AT&T service Posted: 28 Oct 2017 06:21 PM PDT A few months back I sold my iPhone 5 and bought a unlocked iPhone 6s from Best Buy. I activated the unlocked iPhone with my existing AT&T service. A few weeks into using it we noticed that it would drop service at random times where I could not make phone calls, text, or use any data related apps. The WiFi would still work though. So taking the thing back to Best Buy they said it was an issue with the carrier. Talking with AT&T they said it was an issue with the phone and to take it to Apple. Talking with Apple they said it was a common issue with unlocked phones that the antenna portion of the mother board was faulty... Has anyone else had this issue or is this fixable through software updates? Does it even make sense that it could be a motherboard issue if there are times it works and times it doesn't? Thanks for your help! [link] [comments] |

iPhone Calendar not sending invitees an email! Posted: 28 Oct 2017 01:16 PM PDT I have added an Exchange account on my iPhone configured to sync mail and calendars. When I go to Calendars on my iPhone and create a new event, I see the option of adding an invitee. After doing so, I simply create the event; however no automatic email is being sent to my invitee. But, after creating the event and clicking on it, I see the name of the invitee and a small email icon on the top right. Clicking this simply sends an-all text email to the invitee, not an email which can be accepted/declined in Outlook! Any idea on how to solve this? Thanks a lot! [link] [comments] |

iPhone 7+ (maybe even 6/6s/8+) Landscape Mode Issue? Posted: 28 Oct 2017 09:40 AM PDT Running latest iOS11. I know there's a ton of bugs anyway but haven't seen much about this one: Does anyone else's plus size phone not rotate sometimes on the home screen (with portrait mode lock not on)? Within apps it works fine, but the home screen will occasionally not rotate for me. Have to hard reset or turn it off completely. Anyone else notice this or is it just me? [link] [comments] |
