    Base building/Clash of Clans style

    Posted: 03 Oct 2017 06:46 AM PDT

I've done my time in Clash of Clans and I'm wanting a new 'start' with this type of game. I've also played Dominations.

What is your favorite base building game like these?

    Upgrade games like Eggs, Inc.

    Posted: 03 Oct 2017 08:36 AM PDT

I love games where you upgrade like this, similar to cookie clicker. I really enjoy C.A.T.S. but I need a third game to add to my rotation.

    Thank you 🤘🏻

    Pokelock equivalent for iOS?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2017 11:28 PM PDT

On Android theres an app called Pokelock which locks and turns the screen off when the phone is in your pocket (i.e. front sensor covered).

Is there any equivalent for iOS?

Looking for a F2P rpg with a good community, seasonal events (halloween, etc...) and something I could play a little during a break at work or studying (so like pressing a button to go to a location, instead of manually running around).

I have been searching for awhile, but the app search area is not that great.

Older PC games like Oregon Trail

    Posted: 03 Oct 2017 09:52 AM PDT

Love older PC games. One of my favorite games on iOS is Baldur's Gate. I also love playing Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Looking for something a little simpler though to play while I'm at work. Less buttons and less squinting at my phone. Something like the classic, Oregon Trail. Maybe even simpler like SkiFree.

    Got anything? Thanks

I'd like to give a shout-out to the Provenance emulator.

    Posted: 03 Oct 2017 09:21 AM PDT

I recently signed up for the Buildstore on my iPhone and iPad and downloaded the Provenance emulator, and it's amazing. It supports a wide variety of 8- and 16-bit consoles and handhelds and, as far as I've observed in my limited time with it, emulates them all flawlessly. You can import ROMs from another device through iTunes File Sharing or a web server, or you can download them directly through mobile Safari, and it automatically grabs the appropriate box art as soon as you import a game. It has reasonably good virtual controls with Taptic Engine support for newer phones, but since virtual controls are obviously suboptimal for emulated retro games, it's also compatible with MFi controllers as well as older controllers that use the iCade standard. Yesterday, I was playing Super Castlevania IV on my iPad with an MFi controller and I was struck by how dope it is that I can do this without fucking around with jailbreaking or any of that nonsense. It makes the cost of a Buildstore membership worth it, IMO. Check it out if you have twelve bucks to spare and want to make the most of your MFi controller.

Looking for really simplistic, mindless games

    Posted: 02 Oct 2017 06:08 PM PDT

Looking for a really simple, mindless game I can play in short spurts, something like Dots or Bejeweled Classic. The less features and more streamlined the better.

    Thanks in advance.

Similar to Final Fantasy Record Keeper?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2017 05:47 PM PDT

Hi, as title says. Looking for a nice gacha build-your-account-over-time game similar to FFRK. I've also played Brave Exvius and Bleach Brave Souls, so those are out. Thanks to anyone who replies! :)

    Thoughts on modern combat versus?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2017 12:20 PM PDT

Personally I'm quite enjoying this game, yes, there are some issues with it but regardless, I feel like can look past it considering we've seen these types of pay wall strats being implemented before with other games. The game has the same clash royale style pay wall in which winning games give loot boxes that takes time to open. The upgrade system is also like clash royale in terms of upgrading the characters you play, meaning the game is kinda p2w imo. This game's graphics are pretty good but that means less devices can run the game smoothly and lag could occur. There's the new auto fire feature which upsets many people, but there is the option to turn that off.

What are some features you wish games had ?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2017 04:27 PM PDT

    Hey guys,

I'm working on an IOS game, I don't want to give too much away at this point but I'm wondering, have you ever played a game and thought "this would be great if you could ..." I know I have.

I have often found myself scouring the App Store looking for a game that will fill the void.

I was hoping you could share with me the games you have played and the features you'd have liked to see.

The game I am working on will be a Zelda/ilomilo inspired RPG.

    Thanks for your time.

Looking for a game with a good mix of consistent story and gameplay.

    Posted: 02 Oct 2017 10:15 AM PDT

hi, so the tile pretty much sums up what i am looking for. i want a game that has a story with cutscenes or readable dialogue(by readable dialogue i mean the game doesn't have to have voice acting, as long as there is a story and gameplay im happy) and then gameplay. some games i've played before that are like what i'm looking for now are Max Payne, GTA SA, Bully, and Space Marshals 1 & 2. i would really appreciate any suggestions.
