iPhone 6S, iOS 11.0.1. Unplugged phone at 6:30 AM. It is now 8:21 AM. Battery at 44%

And the only thing the phone is doing is sitting here next to my computer keyboard with the screen off.

I knew iOS 11 had issues with battery life, but I did not know it was this bad.

I hate when this spinner is stuck here. Can force quit every app and still spinning. Reboot is the only fix I have found. This happen to anyone else?

Tried some android phones at Verizon while waiting for my 8+....what a shitshow.

    Posted: 03 Oct 2017 06:13 AM PDT

I used to be a big android guy. I had the galaxy s2, s4, moto X, and LG G3 before I finally jumped over to iphone and ios. With how much I've heard that android phones were really getting good again from tech blogs and friends, I entertained the idea of going back. I picked up handsets from all the major manufacturers...Samsung, LG, Google, and HTC, and what a complete mess Android feels like to use after being so used to iOS.

It's amazing how quickly things like a home button and 3D touch become impossible to live without after using them for a while. There is just ZERO tactile feel on any android device which makes them feel like you're not actually performing functions on them. The home screens and widgets all just made it look like a kid's phone for some reason, and the message apps on these phones all felt so primitive.

I don't know how such a locked down OS feels so much more free and advanced than Android when the exact opposite should be true. I truly feel that Apple has made the near-perfect way to use a cell phone. I'm glad I got a chance to handle some Android phones because now I'm sure I'll never go back.

Get it together iOS 11 and watch OS!! This and many other glitches make this update the worst one I’ve ever seen.

I'm wondering how the new iPhone 8 is to hold. Is it very slippery? I'm getting the 4,7'' phone.

Edit: while we're at it: screen protector?

[Help] my iPhone keeps on connecting to unwanted Wi-Fi

    Posted: 03 Oct 2017 09:54 AM PDT

I own an iPhone 6s with the latest update.

My phone keeps on trying to connect to unwanted WiFi. This does not feel safe.

Is there a way to disable this feature in order for me to connect manually?

Is anybody else getting this issue?
