I am trying to get my 1000+ photos off this phone before I trash it, but it isn't compatible with Google photos, or compatible with my laptop to upload them to a computer. | Sound out of speaker when Bluetooth connected? Posted: 20 Sep 2017 06:45 PM PDT So I have an iPhone 7 and an LG Bluetooth headset that I wear around my neck for work. When I get a phonecall, I get a ringtone out of both my iphone speaker and headphones which is great. But when I get an email or alert, I only get sound out of the headphones and nothing out of my iPhone speaker. I don't wear my earbuds in my ears 24/7 so I miss when I get emails. My old company blackberry didn't have this issue. Is there a setting I can change to fix this? I also recently got the new ios11 update in hopes they would have fixed this. Thanks! | downgrade from ios11 -> ios 10.3.3 Posted: 20 Sep 2017 01:47 PM PDT hey there. i wanna downgrade from ios11 to ios10.3.3 my problem is i dont know if itunes made a backup from ios 10.3.2 or 10.3.3 so i can or can not restore my iphone when i downgrade? i think my iphone jumped from 10.3.2 to 11 directly. is that possible ? so no chance for me to downgrade and not to loose my data because the version that you downgrade to must be identical to the backup version. am i right? any advice ? | iPhone 7 Plus hanging after ios 11 update Posted: 20 Sep 2017 07:31 AM PDT No vibration, sound or mic not working (voice memos button greyed out and youtube videos not even starting). Have to wait something like 8 seconds for an app to open or alerts. Settings work just as usual. Hope there is a fix for this issue. Previous betas of ios 11 were having the same behavior. The only way to get my phone fully working is reverting to ios 10.3.3. I'm hoping there is a solution or apple will fix this ASAP. Tried doing an hard reboot and resetting settings and contents or flashing a clean ios 11 from iTunes but still not working. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 20 Sep 2017 12:22 PM PDT I have a 6s thats stuck on 9.3.3 because it can't find a software update. I think it's because it's currently jailbroken. I can't remove cydia, I even reset it using the iphone's reset all data feature, and it's still there. Any advice? Edit For anyone facing this problem, plug your phone into your computer, make sure you have itunes downloaded, and update it to the current software, it'll erase it. [link] [comments]  |

Now, I just hear the vibration but my phone won't even wake up. I have to unlock my phone, open messages, wait for it to load the message, then I click on the thread. | Posted: 20 Sep 2017 10:59 AM PDT Yesterday out of nowhere I noticed my phone was constantly blinking from a blank lock screen, to a visible lock screen, and then the shutdown prompt. And would keep doing this over and over. I thought it might help to restart it so I shut it down, but then when booting it would show the white apple on black background on and off over and over again as well. It does eventually boot but the problems persist, but not always. When it is working kinda normally, it is like the lock button doesn't work at all. The only thing different yesterday is it rained a lot and might have got a tiny bit wet in my pocket. But this has certainly happened many times before. I tried "reset all settings" as I found that suggestion online, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I tried running a blow dryer on it for a while. Should I just wait longer to see if whatever potential water got in there dries out? Or is something else going on? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

When I go to the Voicemail tab, it automatically dials and then the recording says that it has failed to access the number I'm calling?? She wanted all her contact etc so I loaded her same icloud profile and account onto the new iphone. All fine. She has informed me that on the photos there are now loads and loads of duplicated and everything is in a mixed up order. The original phone is fine - phew. Please could someone advise? | Iphone 5s touchscreen acting crazy. Posted: 20 Sep 2017 09:31 AM PDT My iPhone 5s touchscreen feels "uncalibrated" which I thought wasn't possible with the iphone touchscreen since its capacitive. It works perfectly fine sometimes. Then, my screen will go crazy and register touches everywhere when I touch one part of the screen. If I put the phone on sleep and wait a little it goes away but it happens far too often. I'll be texting someone and then it will go crazy and register touches everywhere. Then its useless and won't go back to normal until I reset it. My phone is in pretty good condition. There's no cracks on the screen. Its a very old phone well past warranty so I can't get it serviced by apple without paying. I don't understand why it would be a problem with the touchscreen hardware since its basically unblemished. It could be a software issue but I've tried to reset all the settings and I have restored it once a while ago. Maybe another full restore would help? My screen is totally dark, 100% of the time. Iv'e tried doing the hard reset (holding the home and power button) and I've tried normally turning it off. | No text box for replying to texts with ios 11 Posted: 20 Sep 2017 07:27 AM PDT Yesterday I updated my iPhone 6s to ios 11 and everything was going great for about an hour... in one of my iMessage group chats I literally cannot respond to anyone. I can still see and get the texts but there is no text box for me to reply with. And when I go to the group settings everything is grayed out and I can't even leave. I know I didn't get kicked and I have already tried : turning iMessage on and off, turning off my phone and closing the app. The only temporary solution I have found is for someone to kick me and then add me back but even then I get the same problem about 30 minutes later... When the song reaches -0:00 it stops for a second, and then starts playing the same song (without changing songs and the left timer is stuck on -0:00) from the middle. The song plays for approximately 10 - 20 seconds from the middle and then switches. I don't know how to fix this, but it is now very annoying to listen to my older songs, due to this bug. We have a wi-fi network at school, and to gain access we need to log in to an IP address. However, when I connect to the network it stays connected for 1 second at best, then disconnects quickly, giving me no time to open up Safari and go to the IP address. Is this natural? I am aware that iOS 11 does not auto-connect to bad wifi, but logging in to our school network went smoothly on iOS 10, plus it has been more or less stable. Please help me out, thanks!
