    Welcome to our weekly stickied App thread! This is a new idea so please feel free to offer your feedback about this thread or the subreddit in general in the comments. As usual if you have a serious issue with the subreddit please contact the moderators directly.

    This thread is intended to help members of the /r/iphone community get informed about new apps that are out there. App developers may also use this thread to make users aware that their new app exists.

    Please sort comments by 'new' to find questions/information that would otherwise be buried.

    In this thread you can ask any iOS app related question that you may have. Anyone may offer advice on any issue.

    Two examples of potential questions could be; "How do I learn to code an app?", or "How is app pricing determined?"

    Developers, please include as much information about your app as possible, including size, price, release info, and anything else people request.

    Finally, please stick to reddiquette and keep your comments on topic and substantive. Thanks for participating.

    My shiny new 8+ comes in today! I'm excited, but I feel a little lonely too. It's interesting how there appears to be a group identity and game challenge part of scoring a new iPhone on release day. That's missing this year with the 8.

    Pre orders were down and there are hardly any lines. So it has me wondering what's up. Do that many people really want the bleeding edge phone vs the tried and true "chassis" that has the same "engine" under the hood and nearly all the same functionality? Are folks possibly stuck in the wrong stage of a renewal cycle and they can't upgrade right now? Did Apple manage to ramp up production high enough to really meet demand? I'm stumped at why folks en masse seem to have no interest in a nearly top tier phone?

    Was wondering about this. I know previously they just had you wipe your phone and would take it.

    When you went to pick up your new iPhone were you able to use the iOS 11 Automatic Setup feature before handing over your old device?
