    The removal of the regulatory text on the back of the phone + laminates glass back makes the iPhone so classy

    I just wanna appreciate of how simple and clean it looks now that it just says iPhone on the bottom. And with the glass laminated over the color and text, it looks like premium luxury design.

    Can't wait for the white model iPhone X!

    First off my control center https://i.imgur.com/lyHdb5O.jpg Can't click on my music Then iMessage, can't figure out to collapse the app drawer or not Notifications, when swiping over find friends. The ui is always collapsed I have to click it twice to see anyone.. Then just now in narwhal it got stuck on save image copy image

    I have rebooted twice now. iI's just kind of odd for an iOS release that's all

    FYI: For 4k60 and 1080p240 on the iPhone 8/8+, turn on "High Efficiency" in the Camera settings

    For those like me who were wondering why their iPhone 8/8+ didn't have an option for 4k60 or 1080p240, here's how to get it:

    Settings > Camera > Formats > High Efficiency

    It was late, my appointment was 7:00 - 7:30 and I got there a little late after work. It didn't take long, especially with the super easy transfer from my SE that blew my mind. Took a little longer to re-pair my watch. I left without thinking about the stuff it still needed to download.....

    Leave the mall, get in my car and do not disturb turns on.

    I come home and look at my phone and discover I went over my data cap on AT&T not once, not twice, but THREE times in 20 minutes. $45 later..... 😐

    Don't be an idiot like me, wait until everything is usable on the phone before leaving the Apple store.

    iOS 11 can scan QR codes now. Just ask Siri to "scan a QR code".

    Went there to get them because they were listed at $35, but when I checked the receipt it was only $20! One of the lamps was marked down from $80 to $30. This was in Brooklyn.

    PSA - If you break the glass on the BACK of the iPhone 8/8+/10, it counts as a whole device replacement under AppleCare and therefore subject to a larger excess fee.

    Was speaking to an Apple Store employee this morning whilst waiting and he mentioned this. Noting that they cannot replace just the glass back. Therefore it is a £100 excess rather than the lower excess for a screen replacement.

    I'd assume this will not work for the iPhone X when it comes out due to no home button. Currently a traditional iPhone 7/Plus restart is Volume Down and Sleep-Wake button. If you attempt this on iPhone 8/Plus it will initiate SOS Emergency!! So in this orde:

    Volume Up (click one time) Volume Down (click one time) Hold Sleep-Wake until until restarts to Apple Logo

    Today is the first day of my new iPhone, first ever. The 8 Plus.

    There's a few things I just have to get used to like the weird home button and the notification center is in my opinion not as good as Android.

    Luckily for me I suppose is Google has basically all the same apps on here so its like I bought a laggy free Android!

    EDIT: Accounts synced! Learned about the app drawer. And also SnapChat works like 1000% better on iPhone so fuck them actually.

    Probably the biggest take away so far is this keyboard. It is so damn good!
