| Using older chargers on Iphone 12 Mini & charging in the car Posted: 14 Jun 2022 10:30 AM PDT I got an iphone 12 mini recently, and was told that I should always use the new super charger for it, rather than the old charger for my iphone 8 which had a conventional usb plug port. Besides not charging as fast, the guy seemed to think that using the old charger would also degrade the battery faster - is this correct? I have an Android now, obviously and feel the requirement of UAPP to get lossless audio is almost a deal breaker. The app has a horrible interface which is nothing like the real tidal interface and it can only be used for tidal and qobuz. Plus my external DAC don't amplify when using Spotify or Amazon HD. So, about the iPhone. I've read a few places that external dacs Won't work on iphones, that only the dongle with work. Which would almost be ok at 24/48 but there's no way that's going to power a Sennheiser 6xx or a Sundara. Other things I've read say it's plug and play for external DACs. I'm specifically talking about the dragonfly red and hip DAC V1 Forgive me if I should have posted this in headphones or audiophile Lastly is it true that you must save FLAC files locally before it's able to decode it. The battery health % went from 78% to 100% with the fresh new battery. However, the battery % still drains relatively quickly compared to when I first got the device brand new in 2020. I've turned off all unnecessary battery-draining settings. How do I get it working like brand new again?
