    so i got a "apple security alert" today, and since i've never seen it before i clicked on the link and it sent me to the app store to download a vpn app. when i opened it, it asked me to pay money so i uninstalled it and did some research about apple security alerts. turns out that they're scams, and that you shouldn't click on the links because they'll cause malicious malware to be installed into your phone. since i clicked on the link, i followed the steps to try and prevent malware from getting onto my iPhone. i cleared history and website data and reset my phone. will my phone and personal info still be at risk from this?

    I used to have an apple phone back in the day, still have the phone but no power cord or anything, and am trying to get my old photos and whatnot off it. Is there a way to do this if I don't remember my iPhone apple ID or email?

    Whatsapp Voice with Airpods not working

    Hey everyone, I love my Airpods pro and wear them all the time. I use them to make phone calls regularly (and they understand me fine) but as soon as I want to use them to send voice recordings in WhatsApp, I can't understand anything. I have to turn off bluetooth every time, record the voice with the smartphone, turn bluetooth back on and then connect to the Airpods so I can listen to music. A buddy of mine is doing the same thing - are We doing something wrong? Is there any way to set voice messages in whatsapp to be automatically recorded with the smartphone microphone?

    Hi, I use one of those adapter cables as I find my classic headphones far better quality than the official Apple ones. I'm guessing the cable has gone through some usage but recently it keeps activating Siri every 5 seconds, fast forwarding, skipping tracks, opening different apps whilst in my pocket and to be honest is making any music unlistenable. I've tried disabling Siri but no luck. I know I'll probably have to get a replacement but just wondered if anyone here had a fix? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a daft question

    Hi, my camera roll is taking up majority of my storage space and it is getting pretty full. If I upgrade my iCloud storage will that free up the space on my phone when I transfer my photos ? I don't really know how it works. If anyone has any tips to clear up my storage that would be great.

    Broken airpod case

    Recently my airpod pro case stopped working. The light wouldn't come on and it the thing just wont charge. I still am under limited Warranty, will apple replace or fix the case? No damage to case or water damage

    External display stuck on 30Hz. (x-post from /r/mac)

    Bought a new Pro Art Asus for my Macbook Pro 2019 and cannot make it work on higher frequency than 30Hz. Yes, I thought that cable can cause but it doesn't even show select box with frequencies in display settings. I have installed macos Monterey 12.3.1 and cannot get the setting even with option key on scaled resolution. The display should be able to do 75Hz and the weirdest thing is that once in a few restarts the option to change the frequency appears! And even with the 75Hz value but then after sleep or turning the display off, I'm back at 30Hz without option to switch. Any ideas?

    Unable to use Imessage as a new user

    I'm currently using an Iphone without a sim as I'll be buying them later. I added my friends who had Iphones into my contact with their number/email but they ended up green and unable to deliver (which may be cause by absence of a sim card and imessage failing)

    The person who I manage to text was another friend but he was the one who send it first

    Apple MagSafe Duo Charger pouch

    Has anyone got the Apple MagSafe Duo Charger and have found a basic pouch to put it in?

    I've seen cases, silicone, hard cases etc, not what I want. I'm after a basic pouch like you get with sunglasses etc. it's just to stop scuffs when I put in a bag.

    Dropped my ipad. Now its not working.

    Dropped my iPad air 4. Landed on the power button. Now the power button is stuck, cant press it. When i plug it with the charger i see support.apple.com/ipad/restore.

    I have no idea what to do now.

    iPhone 13 ear speaker blown / distorted

    Just bought it less than 3 months ago. Ear speaker suddenly sounds distorted like the speaker is blown. This issue comes and goes. Not sure what's causing it. Phone is in the latest iOS . Anyone else ever had a similar issue?

    Tried cleaning it, doing a settings reset but it did not work. Hopefully they repair or replace it since it falls under the 1 year warranty. Phone basically looks brand new with no scratches.

    I read some of the 12s had an issue with no sound coming and apple was doing a program to repair them. Not sure if the 13s are having a similar issue too.

    Macbook Pro and AppleCare+

    So, my wife was in bed with our newborn and she was feeding him. He is a preemie and has a feeding tube from his nose to his stomach.

    She basically fell asleep with the laptop in bed, and somehow, the feeding tube opened and leaked all over my Macbook. It was in a bag of rice for a week, and as of today, it wouldn't turn on, even after being plugged.

    My AppleCare+ ends this September, I've never owned Apple products prior to this. How do I proceed from here, and what are the chances of me getting it repaired or replaced? Is Apple support any good? Thanks in advance!

    Are Airpods pro safe to use when vaping ?

    My friends and I vape sometimes while we listen to music. I own Airpods pro I purchased some time ago. Is there any opening where the vapor can enter in the device and let a dirty film or is there just no risk ?

    As the title says, is there anyone or anything we can do or is the phone just done? We have the original packaging but no receipt or anything. The forgot the apple id just asks us for the phone number which we did insert but I am worried they will not contact us back. Can we do anything else in the meantime? She has an iphone 11.

    $165 SimplyPiano Subscription Refund Request

    My little sister (minor), uses my apple account for app purchases and she subscribed to simply piano's free trial in March of this year. She thought that it was a monthly subscription and they actually did charge me about $15 for the past month but a few days ago, they charged me the annual subscription ($165!!). She didn't want the annual subscription and I cancelled it and requested a refund through apple today because I just saw the charge. I'm afraid that apple might decline the refund because it's been over sixty days since I signed up for the subscription and it's over $100. I called apple support today but they said that I have to wait 48 hours for them to review my request. Has anyone dealt with this issue or have any advice?? thanks
