    Whenever my icloud fills up I do a purge by downloading videos from icloud to my PC from the icloud website and then I delete them, in the past I could do however much I wanted now when I get to around a thousand I click the download and nothing happens any fixes?

    Compass, step counter and screen rotation don't work.

    After I removed my iPhone protection cover these three things are not working. I've tried pretty much everything and tried to google as much as I can.

    I have no idea why these features don't work after just removing the cover? Is it because it's much lighter now and the system got confused or something?

    Model is iPhone SE 2020. iOS 15.3.1

    Should I buy an iPad Pro 11” 1st Gen or an iPad Air 4th Gen?

    Trying to figure out which to buy. Price doesn't really matter here as I'm buying off marketplace and they are within $50 of each other ($500 & $550).

    Both come with 64GB and the 2nd gen Apple Pencil.

    So, which would be better? Or am I better off searching elsewhere?

    Apple Store trade-in of blacklisted phone?

    Hello, I have an apple iPhone 12 mini that I would like to trade in, its in near perfect physical condition. All buttons function properly and cameras and screen are perfect as well. When going through the trade in process online it asks a few questions all relating to the condition of the phone, does it turn on? Are screens cracked? Do buttons work, etc.

    The phone is blacklisted through my carrier but the phone itself functions perfectly. Does anyone know or have prior experience trading in a carrier black listed phone? My concern is that if I accept the trade according to their evaluation of the phones physical condition, they will then low ball the initial offer.

    Before I get stabbed with any pitchforks, I got the phone used a few weeks after its initial release. It always worked on my carrier but after a year when I requested a carrier unlock they said it was blacklisted and would not unlock. My guess is the person who sold it to me just took the cash and didn't pay the carrier for the phone, either way I'm stuck with it now and would like to maximize my return on trade in if possible rather than sell it for scraps or recycle for nothing.

    EDIT: Forgot to mention that I did try apple chat support but they just kept referring me to the trade in link and failed to answer my question so I came here as well.

    Occasional screen issue followed by shutdown on 2020 M1 MacBook Air

    Every few months my MacBook Air (2020, M1, Monterey 12.3.1) will switch to a glitched-out screen then shut down a few seconds later. I finally caught the issue with my camera in time:

    I figure a trip to the Apple store is in my near future, but has anyone experience this or know what might be causing it?

    This happens with any device my iPhone 11 is connected to, beats studio 3, my car, my HomePod mini (through airplay), and my Powerbeats pro. This does not happen with wired earbuds. It is truly random but very annoying because it happens every minute or so .This has happened for about the past 2-3 months, and I have "hey Siri" disabled. It also recently happened while my Powerbeats were connected to my m1 iPad Pro. Any ideas on what is causing this issue?

    My brother airdropped me some of his old photos and then he factory reset his device cause he intended to sell it.After a couple of days I realised that all of the photos he airdropped me are gone. Is there any way to recover these photos and why did they got removed in the first place ?? I thank you for you time I am really desperate

    Accidentally set up iPhone with the previous owner’s SIM in it. Am I safe?

    Just as the title suggests, I bought an iPhone 12 on eBay and when I received it it had an active SIM card with a local carrier on it. The plan hadn't been deactivated and I was able to use their cell data with it, although I quickly turned the data off and removed the card because I'm not a thief. Phone sent me a few notifications asking me if I wanted to save that SIM's number as my own, even after I put my own card in. Am I at any risk of having my data compromised, or the phone being blacklisted by the previous seller? My own SIM and carrier work fine with it. I also contacted the previous seller to let them know. Do I need to do anything else?

    I got an iPhone 12 but I always see the gps icon on top so I looked online and they said to go to settings privacy system and turn off status bar icon then I rebooted but I still get it I even did a force reboot

    I am working on a long video project and I needed to make room on my phone. There were gigabytes of "Other" storage, and I heard that the most effective method to get get rid of this excess was to backup and restore the phone.

    I forgot that a few months earlier that you'd need a password to restore an encrypted backup. After realizing what I had done I did some research regarding the issue and most sites pointed me to some brute force program that my computer wasn't even capable of running, while others did find a way to change the password, but it involved data loss.

    I've lost passwords, memorable photos, artwork, in other words, a lot. It's nothing short of a miracle that I backed up some important photos and videos to Google Photos before restoring my iphone. I'm hoping there's a way to retrieve this data, even if there's a price

    not to mention i'm on windows 10

    tldr; lost a lot of data, research regarding the issue was no help, willing to pay money for any programs that will help me get that data back.

    Face ID stopped working after update

    Has anybody else had any issues with Face ID after installing the latest update? I tried to reset Face ID but it won't even register my face now. I'm getting the "move the iPhone a little lower" error on the screen. The front camera is working fine, it just won't register my face now.

    Update: I was able to register my face again, but it still won't recognize it when trying to unlock my phone now. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

    Hi guys, I have a Macbook pro (Retina 13) with Osx Yosemite... So, I was using it with my WD elements (external HD) on it when suddenly crashed down due to battery problems (it drains very easily, I should replace my mac's battery).

    When I restarted everything I waited 5 or 6 minutes to see if my WD works again... That thing already happened to me a few other times sporadically with other HDs, then I saw that they promptly reactivate the Hd's after a few minutes ... but it was not so for my "WD" which, moreover, is practically new and ironically I use it just as a backup ... Disk Utility tells me it can't fix it ... help me before I go insane...
