Was the iPhone X built too well? Posted: 17 Apr 2022 12:29 PM PDT This is my first iPhone ever and I have had it for over a year. I find myself being pulled by advertising to upgrade my phone for no good reason. But when I go to compare the newest iPhones and the iPhone X, they are only marginally better on paper. I am sure under the hood there are improvements but from my day to day use I can't see any real benefits to dropping $900+tax for a new iPhone. Is the Apple ecosystem always like this where it it just marginal upgrades or was the iPhone X just built too ahead of its time? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Apr 2022 02:57 PM PDT I have an iPhone XS. I just put a screen protector on my phone (there were a bunch of bubbles I couldn't get out, not sure if that matters) but by the next day, the screen protector had cracked, I'm assuming due to a drop. I have a Rhinoshield Solidsuit case and an Ailun screen protector. The crack is small but it's still a crack. Any advice for preventing cracks in the future that can be done on a budget?
