Posted: 18 Apr 2022 03:14 AM PDT I recently acquired 2 Apple Watch watchbands from Ritche WatchBands. Full disclosure, I got them directly from Ritche in exchange for my review. That said, opinions are my honest thoughts after having used them for almost a week. I wanted to live in them for a little while before sharing my thoughts. I got them in 2 styles, having a black aluminum Apple Watch: -black alligator leather with black hardware. Size 44 -army green canvas with black hardware. Size 44. My usual daily band is a Nike sport band and have an apple leather loop for more formal occasions. They came in plastic envelopes. And first impressions were they looked very nice. The bands themselves have connector pins, but they came with one set of lug connectors that converted the pins into Apple Watch slides. Despite only having one set of connectors, I was able to easily switch between the bands given the very cool pin slides; hope they come through in pics. Maybe these are fairly commonplace now, but I haven't seen them before and think they're an ingenious way of converting and switching between bands. Maybe not as easy as two sets of connectors, but works nevertheless. As for the bands themselves, I received compliments from both my kids on the green canvas band. I agree it looks great with the black Watch and find it incredibly soft and comfortable. The leather one looks very nice, classic, and the quality of leather is impressive. In all honesty, I've found one of the loops that holds the band down has a rough seam. Not a deal breaker but something that's caught my attention. As I mentioned, I've been switching back and forth between them as occasional calls. Haven't gone back to my apple bands since I got my Ritche Bands. Honestly wouldn't have thought to try them myself, but gotta say after a few days of breaking them in, I really like them…super impressed. [link] [comments]

The new update has messed up my brightness Posted: 17 Apr 2022 10:04 PM PDT I have a new SE and it was perfect. I loved my new purchase and couldn't believe it took me so long to try it. I made an update after a couple of days of usage and now I can't barely see it. I changed the brightness settings and it improved a bit but just not enough for me if I am on a light environment. Is it me? Idk what happened. Please help! [link] [comments]

Best practices for battery life during extended non-use Posted: 17 Apr 2022 08:27 PM PDT Hello, I just got a series 7 and I love it. I will be going out of country for two weeks and I'm not taking my watch with me. What should I do? I don't believe there's a way to turn the watch "off". And I don't want to leave it on the charger for two weeks. Should I just leave it on my desk? What's the best way to preserve battery life? [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Apr 2022 08:02 PM PDT Got my first watch, a series 7 45mm. I have the standard band and I have the same issue I had with Fitbit. Too much water/sweat gets trapped and it causes a rash/dry skin. I basically only take the watch off to charge and if I can feel a ton of water under it. Any recommendations for bands or types of bands? [link] [comments]
Series 3 vs Series 7 just blew me away Posted: 17 Apr 2022 07:32 AM PDT I used series 3 for the longest time and switched to fitbit charge 5 and was disappointed by the rashes and frequent Bluetooth drops. Now switched back to Apple Watch but series 7. Man, does it feel so smooth, large touch screen. I'm just enjoying it 😂 [link] [comments]
Not sure if right sub but weird issue. Posted: 17 Apr 2022 07:30 PM PDT Lost my Apple Watch on a plane last week and it's been jumping around and went from denver to New York to Orlando and been parked in Orlando on the plane for two days straight. The past two days it's been telling me it is not at home and would update every few hours saying it is at my home. But I never received any package or anything. My Apple Watch is probably gone for good [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Apr 2022 07:28 PM PDT My watch is no longer working correctly with commands for Spotify. If I ask Siri to play anything on Spotify she replies with "I need an app to help you with that. Try searching on the Apple Watch app on your phone." I have restarted both my phone and my watch, made sure Spotify is on the latest update on both devices, I have deleted the Spotify app on both watch and phone, my phone and watch are also on the latest iOS update, I also made sure I had given Spotify permission to access my microphone. Siri is still saying the same thing. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? [link] [comments]
Anyone know what to do with an apple watch with a broken screen? Posted: 17 Apr 2022 06:57 PM PDT So a friend gave me their apple watch that had the screen shattered when they fell on it. I was wondering if there were any DIYs I could do with it. I've tried to research how to connect it to an external monitor to be able to see what is going on, but no success. Thanks to everyone in advance! [link] [comments]
Family member watch Activity App keeps going through set up process Posted: 17 Apr 2022 04:42 PM PDT I set up an Apple Watch for my son (using the family watch feature on my iphone) and we went through the initial Activity App set up where it confirms height/weight/activity level/etc. But now every time he opens the app, it keeps asking for the same info before he can see his progress. Any thoughts on how to stop this? [link] [comments]
