Posted: 18 Apr 2022 03:45 PM PDT Went from XR to 12 mini, and switched from Verizon to First Net (through AT&T) There were a couple issues I had to go back to the AT&T store to sort out, but one in particular is still unsolved- my new 12 mini will not let me enable iMessages. In my settings, I switch it on and immediately greeted with the error "An error occurred during activation- try again" All the employees could do at AT&T was try the old "turn it off and back on again" and what a surprise- that doesn't fix it. Even the official response I could find from Apple also said basically the same thing. I'm not seeing any other fixes, I have no clue what to do. Amazon and Apple music both play random crap that I don't want to hear when I start it up in my car and it drives me nuts. Amazon now makes me use the unusable "car mode" when I'm in my car unless I press several buttons several times all while its playing some crap that I don't want to hear. [link] [comments] |

Is there a way to unlock it with my apple id via a computer or something? Any suggestions welcome. | Posted: 18 Apr 2022 02:44 PM PDT Could somebody please explain the following. Since first buying my iPhone 7 Plus I have kept the charge between 65% to 75%. When I charge it I use the low power battery mode which operates within this range. Now, when I top it up to 75% and switch it off and then switch it on again it almost always shows 85% or more! It also disables the low battery saving mode. I then have to discharge it until it is 75%. Lo and behold a restart shows again that it is higher than 75%. I have to keep discharging it to say 74% for it not to disable the low battery saving mode. I can only speculate that the % shown after a charge is not accurate. Either that or Apple don't want people to preserve their battery. Any thoughts appreciated. [link] [comments] |
