    Left my iPhone 6S Plus to charge last night and in the morning I opened a few apps on my phone at with battery at 100% then it suddenly restarted without warning.

    After the restart I got a warning that the battery was less than 10%. Pressed OK button on the warning to make it disappear then noticed the battery was at 1%.

    Manually restarted the phone and the battery percentage changed to 97%.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    FPS drops/lagging on YouTube/Twitch (Codec VP9?) (iOS 15.4.1 + iPhone 13 mini)

    Hi, I got my iphone 13 mini last friday. I'm sadly surprised to experience that Youtube and Twitch app cuts the frame rate in the wildest way (Mostly in 60fps videos). I have the latest iOS version available. I have seen that some other users have reported this as well:

    Vp9 codec - Apple Community

    Lagging - Apple Community

    60p Fps drops on YouTube app videos - Apple Community

    And others in unofficial communities.

    Is this a software problem? Is has anything to do with codec VP9? Is it a general problem?

    There is something I can do to solve this? Could be just a problem in some units?

    It's really annoying to facing such kind of lags in 700+ dollars devices. I'm pretty disappointed. First time with iPhone.

    All of a sudden sometimes call that come to start to get decline automatically and nor am I able to call anyone. I have a XR. I think this gets resolved when I turn off the wifi, cause several times that has solved the issue.

    What happened to adblockers on iOS?

    I've been using various adblock apps since the first launch of safari extensions. After testing many of these adblockers I settled down with a free version of adguard. It was doing a phenomenal job, however in recent months/weeks it started acting weird. I see many ads popping out now and I don't really know what else to do. I've seen that I'm not the only one complaining about these issues and I don't really know what could possibly cause this.

    So my question is: - Is anyone having same problem? Did you manage to fix it? If so, how? - Is there any other good free adblock which collects no data?

    Edit: Thank you guys for all your comments. For now I'll probably settle down with Hyperweb which seem to be superior compared to other apps at the moment for me. I've also tried NextDNS.io and it works decent enough in Safari and also removes all popup ads in games/apps. It won't remove ads that are baked inside the app code (yt, twitter etc.)

    I'm missing these functions though: - "anti-adblock detection" on some gnarly tv shows streaming sites, but it's okay - I can use my pc for watching shows. (I do have Netflix but some of my favourite local shows aren't on it even with vpn)

    Also I wish apple added a toggle switch option to disable running native app links, which automatically opens Aliexpress/Calendar app after popup link is loaded. Some other browsers like Brave already have this feature.

    Ghost data?

    I'm trying to clean up my storage and it shows over 4GB being used. I don't have any subscriptions or downloaded episodes, and I've tried deleting the app. Nothing will delete this used up space. Any ideas?

    Screen brightness auto dims to 50% - can't fix

    Before anyone comments, yes, auto-brightness is disabled!! That being said, my phone keeps auto-dimming to 50%, and even if I slide the brightness to max, nothing happens after 50%. It'll go darker <50% but no brighter.

    All relevant settings are disabled, and I can't figure out what I'm missing. It's also incredibly annoying because it typically does this in bright environments, where I would WANT the brightness to be max.

    Hey guys I got a new iPhone and selling my old one. do I need to worry that I didn't turn off find my iPhone before resetting it or does it automatically do that itself. I just started reading now that you need to turn off find my iPhone for some reason before so any tips?

    My iPhone Pro 11 (latest iOS version) keeps on crashing every time I do something. More info in comments.

    So for the last couple of days, for no reason, my iPhone is doing this weird thing. If it's locked and I unlocked it, right away the entire screen turns black and a spinning loading wheel shows up in the middle of the screen. Sometimes it goes on and off for awhile until it stops. It also happens if I open an app, if I swipe up, etc… What's going on? Last thing I did recently was to add a third HomePod mini to my HomeKit app. Is this ever happened to you? If so, what can I do to fix it? Thank you very much in advance!

    I just purchased an iPhone 12 mini and am on ios 15. It's my first iPhone and honestly really disappointed by the amount of lag while scrolling in apps. It's jerky and juttery. It's happened on MANY apps, reddit included, and I've goggled to find many people with the same problem but no solution. Is there any hope of this getting fixed? The smooth and seamless functionality of the iPhone is what drew me away from Android but this is making me miss my old phone

    iPhone pauses audio when I get close to my house.

    Like the title says when I drive within a block or two of my house whatever I am listening to, spotify, podcasts, etc, will pause automatically as if I'm entering a geofenced area. It just started happening randomly a few months ago.

    I'm not sure what's causing it, I've disabled the only geofencing thing that I ever turned on which was for my Ring cameras but it still happens.

    How to stop incoming calls to be routed to my Bluetooth speaker by default (when the call is answered)?

    I work at an outdoor job site and play music through my speaker. How can I get my phone to stop routing my incoming calls to my bluetooth speaker by default? I don't even care if the ringing plays through the speaker at this point, i just find it extremely frustrating that I have to answer the call, click the "speaker" button, open the dropdown menu, then click "iphone" in order for the person's voice not to be broadcast through the speaker. Any help appreciated, thanks!

By watching and reading some articles I got to know that I have to read the book for learning like The Clean Code and all others like design patterns, dependency injection and more. I tried it, and it takes too much time and I don't understand all the stuff in that book. So I want to know How one can learn all these things, am I on a wrong path Please share with me how you learnt all the best practices of software development

    Whatsapp keeps overriding Do Not Disturb (Iphone 12 pro)

    Hello there,

    Whenever I turn on DND on my Iphone 12 pro, it collects all my notifications in a 'received during do not disturb' tab on my home screen. But for some reason, whatsapp notifications and messages keep coming through and are not collected in that same tab.

    I'm not allowing any contacts or apps in my DND settings, but whatsapp seems to override this.

    Is anyone else encountering the same problem? And does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi, I created an automation in an older version of iOS that worked flawlessly.

    At a specific time, dial a contact with a specific extension e.g. (555) 123-4567,,4,,1

    However, after upgrading to iOS 15.4.1 this completely stopped working. I tried to troubleshoot and change the contact information by deleting the extension and it worked. Wondering if anyone else experienced such a bug with the latest iOS update.
