| Apple can’t change the battery! Posted: 06 Mar 2022 04:54 AM PST Battery at 76%, I booked a time at Genius bar in Apple store today to change the batteries. Lots of "ok, have you a backup?", "sign here please". Please come back at 1 pm. Back. "We have examined the phone, unfortunately there are two faulty safety screws inside, so we can't change the battery. We can change the phone(!) for 6000SEK (roughly $600), do you want us to do that?" "Hell no!" "Ok, I understand. Have a nice day." Three hours spent in a stupid mall! Plus travels. What am I supposed to do? I should add that this is the first time the phone is in for any kind of service, and therefore hopefully the first time it is opened. {sigh} [link] [comments] |
