    To make a long story short, someone has gained access to my apple account and changed the phone number associated to the account. I seem to be entirely unable to recover the account, as ALL reset methods go through the associated phone number (which is a number I do not recognize and have no access to).

    I just got off a lengthy call with Apple support who informed me in no uncertain terms that there is NOTHING they can do if I don't have access to the phone number. This seems absurd to me. I could provide a DL/SS Card/Birth Certificate/etc. and can still access the email account. Apple's suggestion was "just create a new apple ID". Sure...except that I hate the idea of having an account tied to MY NAME that I have no visibility into. Do I have any recourse or options here? Is there a legal department I can contact?

    This is less about the account, and more about having an account tied to me that I can't access. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

    Face ID has been disabled after IOS 15.4 update (IPhone 12). I have cleaned the true depth camera, reset the phone multiple times. Just wondering what I can do to fix this? Trying to avoid going to the apple store and paying for a screen repair.

    Why is '00' and '+' in contacts not the freaking same?

    The problem I'm having is that apple doesn't realises that it is the same so either my chat history is lost because I've to start a new conversation in iMessages or I decide to have two identical numbers in my contact book one starting with 00 and the other with '+' and each time I ask Siri to call someone it asked me which number where matter of facts they are the same. This is so annoying. Anyways what do y'all contact nerds all store in your contacts? If I had the time I would store everything but it simply adds too much friction.

    Poor audio quality on Camera vs. Voice Memos

    Any idea why audio recorded on Camera app vs. on Voice Memos is much poorer quality? Or how to improve it? Is it normal?

    I create short films for Instagram/Tiktok and I need to increase the volume of the recording in order to be on the same level as other creators. However, when I do that the voice quality recorded on Camera app is awful, while the bits from Voice Memos are still clear. I can still feel the difference even on standard audio level. Any ideas why and how to help it? I already use a mic.

    Hi,

    Let me preface this by saying I am an android user and I have very little experience with Apple products. I don't dislike them, I just don't prefer them for my personal use.

    I am trying to set up an old 2nd gen iPad and I am trying to sign in with my apple id. It is requiring the passcode for my old iPod touch (6th gen) which I signed out of, wiped, and sold several years ago. I have tried guessing to no avail.

    I have done some googling and most posts have said there should be a "forgot passcode" button or something. There is none.

    I logged into iCloud on my PC figuring I had not un-associated the iPod from my apple ID account, however, it shows no devices connected to the account.

    Any help is appreciated!

    I was able to back out a little bit and finish the set up so I am into the iPad but I still need that passcode to sign in and utilize iCloud functionality.

    Removing a Remote Management software (MDM/DEP) from OS without knowing password?

    I have tried wiping my MacBook Pro (M1) several times but the remote access of RIPPLING.com is still popping up upon the completion of the fresh reinstall of OS from recovery. ——I then booted back into recovery, disabled the SIP and ran some codes to remove Rippling.com. I had success with removing all the profiles and it appeared as if the software was removed. So, I wiped the computer once more and boom! the remote software popped right back up. Any suggestions as to how I can FULLY AND COMPLETELY remove this remote management software that's been imbedded into the recovery OS without having the credentials or password for the remote management? (The company I worked for went out of business and I just want this software off my device). Thank you in advance.

    need some advice with airpods.

    my airpods have been doing this for a while. i charge the case with the airpods in, and in the morning, both the case and left airpod are fully changed, but the right one isn't. i've checked for dirt, but i see nothing. any help would be appreciated.

    Everything but chrome works

    When connected to my internet, everything works fund except for google chrome. I can use safari without problem but whenever i use Chrome it says there's some internet problem. This is only on my mac and not my phone so i feel like it isn't an internet problem. Anyone know how i can fix?

    My iPhone se 2020 does not charge when plugged in and only charges when I turn it off or completely drain the battery

    So basically this started yesterday night where I used the phone until 15% and then I charged it. In the morning I come to find that the phone didn't charge and the battery was still at 15%. I've tried plugging it in wall sockets, my laptop and my powerbank. The result is the same

    I tried doing the method where you put the iPod in recovery mode, but I couldn't get that to work, as my computer was not recognizing that the iPod was plugged in at all. I also tried the trick where you hold the sleep and home button, and then the sleep and volume button, but that also didn't work. Anything else I should try?

    Locked iPhone following death

    Hi all. Sadly my father passed away on Monday unexpectedly. We are trying to notify friends and family but all his contacts are on his iPhone. We've tried all the obvious PIN numbers like memorable dates etc but nothing has worked. The iPhone is now unavailable. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we need to do to get this unlocked?

    Ways to fake/spoof location without jail breaking?

    So my phone is jailbroken and I have a location spoofing app. It's crashes though and I'm wondering if there's another way to do it. I'm willing to pay. But it needs to be discreet.

    My parents have Life360 on my phone and I'm not allowed to leave the home besides work and school. I'm 17, working, and in college, but they are extremely controlling and abusive. I haven't been out for fun in years and I just want to go out with my friends, so that's why I need to be able to fake my location

    Loading “unsupported” videos

    This may be a shot in the dark, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

    Long story short, I went to a concert a few days ago and mid way through a video my phones camera went black. I stopped the video, shut the camera app and re opened it and continued recording. All seemed fine, until I went to review the video (which was conveniently my favorite song) and the videos were coming up as "unsupported" or "unable to be played"

    I looked up why to do to fix the issue, and the only real solutions were to change the playback quality and restart my phone. I have since done both and neither have worked. The only other options I've found all involve Mac's, and I do not own one.

    Any information or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
