iPhoneX Airpods disconnecting

Airpods disconnecting
My battery has suddenly stopped charging.
So finally my iPhone X battery health fell to 79% after the last update. It seems apple recommends battery replacement if health is just under 80%.

Has anybody had any issues with their airpods disconnecting while listening to music? I noticed that this started to happen this week. I have to unlock the phone and then jump to the next song, sometimes 2 songs for them to start working again.

Yesterday when I went to charge my phone it just… wouldn't.

After having charged perfectly the night before with a non-original charger it just didn't charge the next day. When I plugged it into my pc it did recognize a device was plugged in so I don't think it's the port, and it didn't charge with the lightning on the battery but it did boot up and went up to 7% battery.

When I came home at night I changed the head to another one (original) and it charged perfectly so I assumed it was just the head I was using, but today it's back to not charging, with any head Combo.

It doesn't seem to be the cable OR the port though, when it does die and I plug the cable it acknowledges it's been plugged in just doesn't charge normally and when it boots up after maybe an hour or more it's on 2% until it goes up to 7% and it stays there.

Horrible moment for it to act up because I have a trip tomorrow night. If anyone has any suggestions I'll love to hear them.

Already tried the soft reset (holding power button until logo shows), and there's a software update 15.3.1 that won't install (I asume because of low battery). As long as it's plugged in it's okay in 7% but obviously, I need my f****ing mobile phone, ugh
