Posted: 27 Feb 2022 04:31 PM PST So I was sitting on the couch with my girlfriend and as I was just scrolling along on Reddit she somehow received a FaceTime from me. I tried to have her answer just to see what It was but it went away too quickly. I know for a fact I didn't accidentally call her, so is there a chance my Apple ID has been hacked? | Posted: 27 Feb 2022 11:11 PM PST I am seeing an app use 24hrs of screen time starting yesterday. The app/website is mrguide360.com. It is categorized as "other" but I have no clue what it could possibly be. I have close all apps and I have restarted my iphone. After that I believe the screen time for that app/category is no longer going up. I checked my data and there is no unusual activity and there is no unusual apps draining my battery. Obviously an unknown website occupying 24hrs of screen time is alarming. Any idea what this could be caused by or what my next steps should be? [link] [comments] | ||

I go to Software Update and it says "iOS 15.3.1 is up to date" and there is no update available. So, what gives? If there is no update available, why is it telling me I have to update? Posted: 27 Feb 2022 08:16 PM PST So my phone died, and when I plugged it in, it gave me the normal sign for charging phone, but also had a message at the bottom that said "iPhone is findable". It was taking longer than usual to turn on, so I unplugged it and looked if it recognized it was disconnected but it still gave me the charging symbol with the same message underneath. Plugged it into a different charger and it turned back on immediately. Has this happened to anyone else?? Thought it was super odd. [link] [comments] | ||

Does me taking out my SIM from my main phone mess up anything, like I don't expect it to get the Whatsapp messages and all (unless connected to wifi will allow those to still come in). The SIM on the burner phone will be what will allow for cellular calls, and text messages, and data usage. (though technically, on the home phone, would I still be able to call/receive text is with the icloud account basis/driver? Not sure if I understand these things so well). [link] [comments] | ||

I noticed it sent the original photo. I went back to edit it again, but when I got to the edit screen, the photo slowly transitioned back to the edited version. As of right now the only way I can access the photo I want is by going to the edit screen. I've never had this happen until last night and Im lost on what to do. Thank you so much for any help. | Posted: 27 Feb 2022 11:25 AM PST I got my new iPhone 13 pro on Friday and I traded in my iPhone X at att! I had a severe battery drain issue on my X and decided to get a new phone. The issue is I have the same battery life now as my iPhone X (traded in at 78% health). I'm here typing on Reddit via Safari and it went from 53-50% (loses 1% a minute every time the screen is on). So 100% is good for 100 minutes. I've reset my settings, I've deleted all my apps to the bare bones (need DuoMobile and some messaging apps, social media is gone) and its still losing a % a minute. I've turned off location services and background app refresh. Is it because I transferred all my data from my iPhone on Friday its still indexing? Is it because I have iOS 15.3 downloaded?? This happened right after I purchased it and transferred the data. I wish I just transferred the photos onto a hard drive or something and started new- is it possible whatever defective settings on my iPhone X transferred over to my 13 pro, and now I'm screwed with this bug? I took it to the Genius Bar and they said to come back in 2 weeks so they can analyze trends and then evaluate for a battery replacement- the issue is the replacement for a battery from apple never lasts as good as the original? Should I erase my phone since there's no way they'll swap for a new phone? I'm just sad that I paid so much money, saved up and now I have a phone that I can't even text on without losing 10% of my battery. Should I calibrate my battery (drain to 0 and charge to 100)? Also my phone does not connect to itunes on my computer, but the cable can connect other phones. The camera on the new phone is much better, with 3X zoom, macro mode and awesome low-light capability, but I still prefer the videos I took with my iPhone XS Max. The colors in the videos taken with the iPhone XS are warm and well-balanced, whereas with my new iPhone 13 they're more yellow-ish, hazy and often slightly over-exposed. For example, let's say I'm using a Mac and texting with my friends using instant messaging such as Signal, Facebook Messenger, or iMessage (on Mac). My iPhone is lying next to the keyboard and every time someone writes a message to me on the above communicators, my iPhone will notify me about it (so it plays a sound, wakes up a screen every time which uses battery), even though I have an open chat with this person at the moment. I get notifications about a given message at the same time on my computer and iPhone - I would like to receive a notification only when I do not use a Mac or PC. I know that I can mute my iPhone or turn on the do not disturb mode, but I don't want to do this every time I leave my computer because I often forget about it and sometimes it becomes a nuisance because I have to remember about it and I often instinctively check if my iPhone it is no longer muted when I am not using my computer. Went to iMessages to select phone number to send or receive(was showing my Apple ID alone till now) which I couldn't find and I accidentally clicked log out. For the past 24 hours I'm unable activate iMessages and FaceTime. Keeps throwing up a message saying activation unsuccessful. Model - iPhone 13 Pro Country - India. FaceTime and iMessages are available here. I have tried restarting phone, tried with mobile network on, with Wi-Fi on. Haven't tried resetting the device yet. Any help is appreciated.
