Posted: 12 Feb 2022 01:20 AM PST I'm a 20 years old male, a bit overweight but not too much. I've started regularly exercising 11 months ago burning around 850 calories a day. I just checked my health records and my VO2 Max is 21. Should I see a doctor or something? My resting heart rate is usually between 65-75, and it's around 120-130 when walking at 6 kph (3.7 mph). My watch is a Series 3 38mm and it's running the watchOS 7, not updated to 8. [link] [comments]
What designates your fitness goals/rings? Posted: 11 Feb 2022 09:22 PM PST I'm curious if anyone knows what decides how much is needed to close your rings? I share my rings with some of my close friends and several of them are the same height and body type as myself, I have a 22.9 BMI, but I have to do considerably more work to close my rings. Does anyone know what decides this? [link] [comments]
Why aren’t all seasonal Apple Watch band colors available in the Face Gallery? Posted: 12 Feb 2022 12:30 AM PST Is there some sort of artistic logic being used to decide which seasonal watch band colors are available to select in the Face Gallery for particular watch faces? I've noticed that for the watch faces that allow selection of different colors, numerous seasonal watch band colors are missing e.g., for the current season's colors, there's no Marigold color option in the gallery. I've also noticed that color choices are only provided for the Sports Band colors and not other strap types e.g., leather loops. Has anybody figured out the logic being applied here? Posted: 11 Feb 2022 11:35 PM PST Thinking of getting a series 7 soon, my first apple watch. I'm not sure if I should go with the cellular option or not though. How does that even work? will I need to set up a new monthly plan with my carrier on top of the extra 100 dollars I'm paying? Also, If I decide to get the one without cellular, can I upgrade the same watch to have cellular later on? I'd love to hear about your experiences with the cellular option! Was it worth it? Pairing an Apple Watch to Another iPhone Posted: 11 Feb 2022 10:51 PM PST My uncle recently gifted me a Series 3 Apple Watch that he used to use and it was paired to his iPhone. Him and I live in different continents. Is there a way I can impair the watch and his phone and connect the watch to my phone with his Apple ID and password and without the phone and watch being in close proximity? [link] [comments]
If I turn on Water Lock on my s7, will it still track and wake me up with the alarm? Posted: 11 Feb 2022 10:37 PM PST I've woken up to 4 hour workouts logged during my sleep or my alarm turned off and when checking my phone, I notice that the alarm was turned off hours before it was suppose to go off. I want it to be a bit harder for me to move things in my sleep and to force me to move a bit more when my alarm goes off to actually get me up [link] [comments]
Best screen protectors available in Australia? Posted: 11 Feb 2022 09:21 PM PST Can anyone recommend any screen protectors available in Australia? I've heard good things about Skinomi and IQ Shield, but can't find any available online for Aus. Edit for spelling. [link] [comments]
Data Plan only, but still paired? Posted: 11 Feb 2022 08:31 PM PST Ok this is a weird one, but hear me out. I'm wanting to switch to Google Fi desperately (because of the international roaming included, it's a dream feature), but the only thing holding me back is the cellular support on my Apple Watch. (Yes I probably could live without it but I use it at the gym and as a backup car key) That said… I'm trying to figure out if this would work: Truphone offers a $9.99 / month Apple Watch only plan designed for family setup. The watch has an option when you factory reset it to keep cellular plan…. So what I'm wondering is… Could I: 1) factory reset my watch as is 2) set it up as "family setup" activating the Truphone cellular plan 3) factory reset my watch but KEEP cellular plan 4) pair my watch back with my iPhone as normal, but now it has its own independent data plan Granted, "number share" or whatever wouldn't work, as the Watch would have its own dedicated number, but I don't really mind that as I only use it to make calls in a pinch. Mainly want it for data and iMessage. I doubt anyone has ever tried this, but if you have, could you help poke holes in this? I suppose I could try it with my existing setup now with a free afternoon just to see if it works? [link] [comments]
