    LG CX flashed back whenever watching a non-SDR, fix?

    Not sure if this is just a limitation of HDMI but my Apple TV 4K flashes black for a second every time I watch something in HDR or Dolby Vision.

    Using LG webOS this never happens and it seamlessly switches between SDR/DV/HDR. Is there a setting I'm missing?

    Screen goes black between episodes on Amazon

    Our toddler's favorite thing on earth is watching Blue's Clues, so it's a daily thing in our house.

    About 80% of the time, as it transitions from one episode to the next, the audio from the next episode plays but the screen goes black. The only thing to get the video back is to go back to the menu and restart the episode. And then about 10% of the time, it goes black again on the 2nd attempt.

    We don't think this has ever happened with any other show or app.

    Hardware:

    Samsung QN90A Apple TV 4th Gen

    Anyone have any idea why this happens?

    My Apple Tv keeps popping up to sign into an old Apple ID account and I keep pressing “not now” and it keeps popping back up

    AppleTV+ on Android phones

    I'm curious if it's intentional that the website just doesn't work on Android phones. Can't use 2FA if I don't have my laptop nearby (clicking "I didnt get the code" just results in nothing happening). Can't seem to watch shows even if I do use my laptop to authenticate - episode starts playing behind the page content - audio but no video. Are they thinking they can convert people to iPhone users by making the web experience suck and not making an Android app? Not going to happen for me.

    What shortcut action(s) do I use to have my shortcut select “Brian” automatically after my 1st shortcut action opens the Hulu app on my TV? Choose from Menu maybe? Could someone please write it and share a screenshot? Thanks

    TV Show "The Middle" removed from Apple TV

    I've been watching the TV show "The Middle" on HBO Max on my Apple TV 4k. I would usually start the show by selecting the next episode from Up Next. A couple of days ago I noticed The Middle was gone from my Up Next. If you search for the show in the Apple TV app, it's not available. On my iphone, in the iTunes Store app, the show is available for purchase. My other HBO Max shows are still in Up Next, and The Middle is still available to watch on HBO Max. Does anyone know why a show would be removed from Apple TV?

    Prevent deletion of screensavers?

    I no longer have the Dubai screensaver, which I assume was deleted. Is there a way to get it back and prevent it from being deleted?

    I think I have 21 screensavers total. A lot of which I don't like. Is there a way to choose particular ones for download?

    My ATV turns itself back on

    Maybe 2 minutes or so after turning my ATV off, it suddenly wakes itself and turns my tv back on in the process. After I turn it off the second time, it seems to stay off. I've already turned off Background App Refresh, as I read that could cause it but to no avail. Any ideas? It does it every single time. I'll also add that it's been working fine for months and started this all of the sudden.

    8/7 Mbps download speed, how to handle quality?

    Hi,

    I am an Apple TV owner.

    In my house we have a HD TV linked to an Apple TV 4k (1st gen), but our landline connection is usually at about 8/7 Mbps in download (the Apple TV is cable-linked to the router, the speed may vary a little if the router re-establishes the connection but it never goes above 9.5 Mbps).

    There is no other solution for higher speed (telecom operators can't handle it and mobile signal is about as crappy).

    How could we handle it to increase viewing quality?

    Does anyone else absolute despise this as well?

    When watching AppleTV on my Mac using the AppleTV app, whenever I press Esc to exit full screen it freaking exits the episode completely. No other video app does this (Netflix, Disney+, VLC, IINA, etc). Instead they just exit out of full screen. I'm so used to it, that I keep pressing Esc and quit the show. Ugh.

    It is also not consistent. If you are not in full screen and press escape, it will do nothing. Like, just keeps playing.

    Also, after you escaped out of it and click resume, it will always jump back about 10 seconds. This is another annoyance tbh. Any resume will rewind to 10 seconds from when you left off. So annoying. I also hate that I can't increase playback speed and some other things, but I don't want to bitch too much :)

    Just bought Apple tv 4k 2021 gen 2 and Airpod max.

    Hi, with this set up will i get Dolby Atmos whilst watching films and shows through apps like Prime, Netflix and D+ on the box? My second question is, do i need to buy a license for Atmos again? I bought through my Xbox SX and if so is there an App on the box to do so. Cheers

    Airplay from Mac to Apple TV (Airplay icon nowhere to be found)

    Hello, I have a 2017 MacBook Pro on Monterey and I recently just got the new Apple TV 4K, mainly for the airplay capabilities. I cant however seem to find any airplay icon on my Mac, nor is there a checkbox option in the "display" settings to show the icon when the service is available. It is also only from the Display settings that I can initiate screen mirroring which is not ideal for streaming video content as it is choppy and compressed. Any ideas?

    I have LG OLED (C1). When i play something on Apple TV app, only Dolby Vision logo pops up. How can i enable Dolby Atmos? Connected AirPods Max via bluetooth.

    Issue with airpod max in ATV 4K

    When disconnecting my AirPod max I have to reboot the ATV to get sound to work (using HomePod ). This seems to be Everytime since getting the airpod max yesterday. Any suggestions?
