    so for the past 30 minutes my iphone has been stuck on this, ive tried turning it on and off but each time on lock screen and try to enter home screen it enters into this screen again. it wont even access my macbook either as its not able to trust the iphone due to the iphone not loading, what do i do? is there anyway i can fix this, or do i have to get a new phone?

    How to solve this issue for uploads? I have plenty of storage for my iCloud yet I keep getting this.

    No sounds for messages app notifications

    I'm on iOS 15.2.1.

    Not getting a sound for message app notifications (tested with texting from a Google Voice number, and sending myself a text).

    I have set sounds for Messages app to on in the notifications tab, do not have the side button on silent mode, I am not on Do Not Disturb, I have chosen a different ringtone and restarted the device already.

    I do get mail sound notifications when emailing myself, so it's something specific to the messages app.

    edit: If I am using my phone (i.e. screen unlocked, doing stuff) then when the text message comes in, I get a sound. If the phone is locked (black screen), I will not get a sound and the screen will not even light up with a notification.

    I also have "Announce notifications" on, and it doesn't do anything. It used to start reading the text messages, now it doesn't do anything.

    This is deeply confusing to me, as the only settings I have changed recently are setting up FOcus modes, but again, I am not on a focus mode and this is glitching.

    edit 2: It is just the Messages App, the Gmail app does get notifications on the lock screen (the screen lights up, the banner appears, the phone makes a sound).

    edit 3: The settings for my Messages App and my Gmail App: https://imgur.com/a/wkkzZ3Q. As identical as they can be. Quit all apps and restarted after I set this. Yet the Gmail app notifications work on the lock screen, and the Messages app doesn't. Unbelievable.

    I got an old iPhone X repaired and the battery health is at 81%. I feel like it's discharging way too fast though. What does the 6h22m Screen Off stat mean? Is it normal?

    iPhone 13 Pro Max, purchased Applecare+ and I recently cracked the rear glass a little from a single 3feet fall... If I take it to the repair service now or later when I get to damage it more, I wonder if I'll receive the same phone with the same dented metallic frame or will it look like new?

    Not getting notifications on gmail app

    For some reason I am not able to get notifications when I receive an email from my gmail app. The app doesn't even show a red badge count of unread emails. Once I open the app myself, then I'll see a bunch of emails and then the app badge will show.

    I've made sure notifications are turned on for gmail (both on the app and in the settings), I've made sure I turned it on for "all email" not just important. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well but no success. Hoping someone here can help shed some light on this situation, thanks!

    I cant fix my old 6 plus, it constantly does this, and sometimes shows the apple logo for a split second then shuts off. Because of that, the flashing fails! In dfu, it stays connected normally on pc, and when plugged in wall, itunes logo shows for longer. How do I fix it?

    broken iphone 4 in 2014

    i broke my iphone 4 in 2014, it wasn't backed up to icloud at the time of damage and i lost a ton of photos. i took it to the apple store at that time and they said they couldn't help me (the phone wouldn't turn on). i never thought until now to take it to a 3rd party to potentially fix it and recover the pics. i don't know what iOS it was operating at the time of damage.

    it's been so long, i don't remember if it was water damage or from me dropping it. the broken phone has been in a drawer for 8 years.

    is there a chance i could recover the photos? the phone is across the country at my parents house, so i can't take it to a repair shop and ask- thought i'd ask reddit in the meantime. sorry if this post sucks, i'm fixated on it.

    Voicemails on old iPhone

    I have an old iPhone that I left in a drawer. It is not set up for cell service but will work on wifi. Could I retrieve old voicemails? Are they stored on the phone?

    Occasionally (though it happened twice this week), my reminders change their due time. This isn't just me forgetting or misclicking; they actually changed their time. It's really annoying. Is it common? Can it be fixed?

    Will Apple help technicians in this? iPhone XR boot loop

    my iphone XR has been at a repair shop for about four or five days now. They claim to be certified "apple technicians". And i mean, the shop does look pretty reputable. Before taking my phone to them i tried absolutely everything i could to get it fixed, but to not avail. Which led me to believe that it may be a hardware issue, a water one to be exact. This was it for some people. Looking at solutions on youtube they'd either take off the battery, the screen, or the face ID for a few minutes and miraculously the loop would break . I, for example ,have the tendency of using my phone while in the shower (I know that's stupid). So its just my theory.

    They told me its not a hardware, but definitely a software problem. the root cause more than likely being some type of tweak Apple made to their phones on Sunday. my phone has full storage, and the update basically keeps restarting and restarting. they've tried everything, and now they're waiting for apple to contact them back. Apparently they've already notified apple, but they dont have a solution. Not that they're lying, but how realistic is it that apple will send or give them a solution? i dont care if they have to factory reset my phone, i know im more than likely screwed either way and Im going to start from scratch. Whether ill start from scratch with my current phone or have to buy a new one, is what i need to know soon.

    the only reason i ask this is because i go to school in like the second biggest campus in Texas, and I just can't keep going on without a phone. In this day and age everything is conducted through QR codes, google maps is a must, and Just the fact that being in a foreign city probably isnt the best with no cellular device.

    ive called the shop daily (via my roomates phone) for updates but they keep telling me theyre still on the exact same spot they were on Sunday. they keep telling me they'll have a definitive answer "tomorrow'... they've said that everyday the past four days. And I do believe they're trying everything but dang.. it's leaving me without options.

    iPhone 6S not updating to IOS 15, could use some help
