    iOS 15.2 is stuttering while rolling in apps

    Is there anyone experiencing it? I bought a new iPhone last week and right after it updated to iOS 15.2 but the scrolling in YouTube are really bad and on twitter when there's 2 videos between tweets it stutters and chokes a bit as Android does… what should I do?

    Ads Showing Up in AppStore!

    Some apps and options disappear on share sheet when accessing certain websites on safari

    Not sure if anyone else has experienced this before because I tried looking this up and there was nothing. I'm on iOS 15.2.

    For example, if I go to certain websites like Wikipedia on safari, at first the share sheet would load perfectly. All options and apps that I want are there. But if I interact with the website such as scrolling down a bit and then pull up the share sheet again, some apps and options would be missing. Most notably, Instagram and Twitter are gone as well as the option to save to keep. I would go to the three dots at the end and scroll at the bottom to edit actions but I can't get those missing apps and options back.

    This doesn't happen to all websites. But it consistently happens to Wikipedia and a few others. Strangely enough, this doesn't happen if I open Wikipedia in a different app like Chrome or if an app opens a Wikipedia link in app.

    I have tried to restart my phone multiple times and edit the share sheet but nothing works. I know it's not that big of a deal (I usually copy the link if I want to share stuff anyway), but it is nonetheless worrisome that perhaps other apps will start to disappear or that this will start happening on all websites. I have submitted a bug report to Apple's feedback website but maybe I should also try contacting Apple support. What do you think?

    How do I enable PIP for YouTube?

    Cannot find my offline downloads on the YouTube Premium App

    Hey all, I have 80 GB worth of offline downloads on the YouTube app for I am a premium member.

    Last couple of days i am unable to access any of my saved videos for they have all disappeared on the app and it now says that I do not have any downloads, the confusing thing is that on my iPhone storage the 80 GB of data and documents is still in place, not sure what to do next, I have already cleared more space on my phone.

    Anyone can please help?

    I love the new UI but…

    I hate the inconsistency of its usage in Apple-made apps. I think that's how I can explain it. Some apps have updated to use the new UI and some apps have only been updated to use it in some areas. For example, in Music, going to Listen Now >> Account (top right corner), the new UI isn't present there. This really annoys me for whatever reason and I don't get why not all areas use the new UI.

    Originally my quest was to move my old text messages from my Galaxy Note 9 to my mac as I'm moving back over to iPhones, but I left that project due to lack of results.

    Then I googled transfer sms from android to iphone, and discovered the move to ios-app which failed 4 times before it finally worked, although the move kinda changed many of the texts, like putting all mms between my contacts and me in a different thread than the one holding the messages, dividing some of the threads into several, showing some of the threads with every message being duplicated etc..

    Anyway, I got my android texts moved over to my iphone, and now I wanna get them on my mac in a readable format (sentimentality, memories...).

    Two problems: The 7 vids I found was all about imessage, second problem is every google and youtube hit is about some program that I have to pay for, and many of the comments says it didn't work for them so I don't wanna spend money on "maybe"

    iTunes fails to transfer albums to my phone first time

    I guess this is where they want to hide software issues, so here we are:

    This is a two-year-old problem. Drag an album into iTunes to transfer to your phone, and the songs are listed as if they are all separate albums, not songs from a single album. You have to transfer the album, then delete it from your phone, and then transfer it a second time to get the album to actually show up as a single album—which you can then play as intended.

    This still happens with the newest iPhone, the 13. Maybe it's an iTunes issue, rather than an iPhone issue.

    I have been unable to find a fix with Google, so here I am. After two years, I'm very much in shock this issue persists. Anyone know of a fix or better workaround than transferring everything twice?

    Music app problems after 15.2?

    I was having issues before updating to 15.2 where songs just wouldn't play. I'd press play and the icon would change to pause but it just wouldn't play. I restarted, looked stuff up and didn't see anyone else with the issue so I sort of gave up. I just updated to 15.2 in hopes it would fix it but now I've got an even more annoying issue. Whenever I open my music app it has the same song queued up starting from the same second, with the same queue of songs after it. It's not like it's a playlist either. In fact it's just the middle of me going through my songs on shuffle. I can move backwards and forwards to other songs and play other things but as soon as I open the music app up again after closing out of it it opens to that same song paused at 47 seconds. Anyone else having this issue or am I just special? I've messed around with playing other songs on loop but nothing seems to shake it.

    Storage/Capacity not adding up. How to fix?

    iPad 8th Generation
    Version 15.1

    This first screen shows that I have 65.82 GB available out of 128 GB:

    This other screen shows that I have used 62.3 GB out of 128 GB but the visual bar shows that I've used a lot more than that. You can also see that VLC is currently using 88.57 GB so one of these calculations appears to be way off.

    I can say that under VLC, I only have 35.23 GB of content saved, so even if taking the size of the program itself into consideration, it shouldn't be anywhere close to 88.57 GB.

    How do I fix this? I need to know how much space I really have free.

    Screenshot Link Sharing & Reminders

    Hi all—

    Two questions that I've never had the opportunity to run down and am trying to do so during this slow period.

    First, on my Mac, I've got it set up so that when I take a screenshot, it's saved to Dropbox's folder and a link to the screenshot is automatically populated to the clipboard. This works great*; I take a LOT of screenshots everyday. Is there a way to replicate this on iOS, specifically iPad? I run into a problem after I've saved the screenshot using Files—I can't find a way to share just the link.

    *This worked even better a few months ago; the link would be in my clipboard immediately. Something changed, though, and now there's a maddening pause while I guess Dropbox pulls the link from the API or something. Anyway, it's still the best solution I've come up with.

    Second, what's the fastest way to add a reminder (specifically on ipad). I was hoping to figure out how to do it using Spotlight (cmd + space), but I haven't found that. Any other ideas?

    Alternative options for iCloud

    Family iCloud setup currently and exceeded 200gb . Next storage level is 2tb and is expensive ($9 per month ) . Major storage in backup is photos . What are the best alternatives for iCloud which can back up photos regularly.

    How to stop onedrive from sync uploading pics from screenshots folder?

    I sync my photos to onedrive as i have 1tb of cloud from Office 365.

    But one drive is filling the cloud not only with camera photos but also with screenshots , and its becoming a mess because now there are a lot of memes webpages and chat screenshots in the cloud LOL.

    how am i supposed to set the sync only for actual camera shots?

    Project Management Tool to Measure Productivity

    What I would like is a mechanism to break a big goal into small weekly and daily goals. In addition, I would like to measure my daily progress in completing tasks, and calculate the proportion of days I hit my goals.

    Is there an app or excel template that will help me do this?

    Bonus points if I can set distinct goals that repeat every day, and weekly goals that fluctuate based on the project.

    What does the little recent box next to a number mean?

    I've had some numbers blocked for months now. I did an experiment and every time I add them as a contact (still blocked) the recent box appears. Is it just a way of flagging recently added contacts or is it a way of letting me know they've tried to reach me recently? If so, how recent is recent?

    Basically I use a very slow shared internet connection on my iPhone and YouTube buffers every five seconds, so is there any browser that has an option to disable DASH playback? Or is there some experimental WebKit setting for it?

    iphone xs max selfie camera not working and showing black but face id is fine.. any suggestions??

    in the past when selfie camera was working fine sometimes when i tryed to open camera app phone crashes and reboot itself but today when i opened the cam i realize that selfie camera is no longer working and its just showing a black screen but back camera and face id is just working normally. i connected the phone to 3utools and is says front camera may damaged.. and serial number is N/A Im so confused right now.. becuse if i replace the selfie cam than face id will stop working or can it be a software problem? cuse last night i updated the phone to 15.2 any suggestions?

    I accidentally got extra iCloud storage without paying

    So… I was tying out family sharing and I tried it out on a family member's phone by adding them as a family member. I have an existing iCloud+ subscription that was gonna be shared to the family member and after that the family members iCloud storage got upgraded from 5gb to 200gb. After I've finished testing and after I removed them as a family member their iCloud storage is still at 200gb I thought that was just a glitch it will eventually come back to normal after but 1 week later i checked their phone again and it's still at 200gb and their phone is backing up and everything! That Apple ID doesn't have a payment method I'm not sure that this was supposed to happen this is my first time trying out family sharing if there's an explanation on why this is happening feel free to comment but it'll be cool if this is a way to get free iCloud storage lol.

    New to iphone. Is there a preferred email when creating apple id?
