    Casual time management games

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 04:10 PM PST

At the moment I'm recovering from unexpected major surgery and I'm pretty groggy so I'm enjoying games that aren't too taxing but I where I need to concentrate a little. I used to love games like diner dash so I went hunting. These are the ones I've tried and my thoughts

    • diner dash - OK but seems to lack something the 'old' have.
    • various game house games (Emily's something, Amber's airline and a few others). - I really like these and enjoy the fact that there's a story to follow (albeit pretty lame) but hate that they give you a few levels then the next levels cost a lot. I don't think they're really worth £10 each.
    • Cooking craze - I like this but as soon as i get into it I run out of lives.
    • cooking fever - way too P2W, eg you need to use gems to do most upgrades and can't win without them,

There seems to be a lot of rubbish time management games out there. Can anyone recommend any good ones?. I don't mind paying for a decent game, I just think the gamehouse games are too samey to be worth a large amount.

    Thank you

Best board game ports for iPad to play on family meetings?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 09:42 AM PST

What are some good ports of board games available to iPad (11") that I can play with my family members, I was thinking about Carcassonne and/or Ticket to ride as I don't know others, it would be even better if it would be possible to have the iPad on the table like the board itself instead of having to pass it hand in hand because you know.... it's a 800USD device, the changes of someone dropping it....

tired of dealing with Xbox one S/DS4 controller issues when switching between apple devices... Good MFi controllers for ios?

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 12:24 PM PST

Both my xbox one s and DS4 controllers on ios 13 give me so many issues when i try to switch from one device to another, say, my iphone to my ipad pro and vice versa. when i try to put them back to pairing mode to switch devices it simply wont connect to the other device. ive tried everything. its such a pain to switch. Are there any Made For iOS controllers comparable to DS4/Xbox One S controllers that have more seamless integration in ios?

    Games like Wild Frontier?

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 10:48 AM PST

There used to be a game on the App Store called Wild Frontier. It was a gorgeous pixel art RPG where you fought monsters and could cook or craft with their drops. I always loved it, but it was taken down from the App Store a few years ago.

Does anyone else remember this game or know of potentially similar games that might fill the void it left behind?
