The basic feature apple ignores Posted: 06 Dec 2021 12:39 AM PST I can't understand why apple can't make a basic camera folder for the photos and videos that you take. Why all the media that you download have to be combined together with the photos you take? It's the most annoying aspect of iOS. Is there any reason for that? [link] [comments]
How to add Excel spreadsheet to iOS Home Screen? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 01:58 AM PST Didn't find the option on the app itself, if not possible, did someone figure out through shortcuts? [link] [comments]
Bluetooth headset microphone works in Facetime, but not Camera Posted: 06 Dec 2021 01:20 AM PST Why does the microphone on a bluetooth headset work perfectly for voice calls in Facetime, but not when recording a video with the Camera app? I've tried several headsets including a cheap BT headset, Jambox BT speakers, a Bose, and Airpods - all the same. Same on my ipad. Is there a workaround? [link] [comments]

Annotations in Podcasts app request!! Posted: 06 Dec 2021 02:33 AM PST Would you also love to have annotations in apple podcasts app? There is some podcasts that includes several topics. While not knowing time mentioned in podcast this would solve problem 🤔🤷🏻♂️ [link] [comments]
app that lets you clone apps for separate accounts? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 02:25 AM PST Is there any apps that will allow you to have two or more versions of the same app, with different accounts available on the same device? there was one called something like clone app or parallel space multiple years ago and I tried downloading what looked to be it from the apple App Store, but it only lets you have multiple accounts for pre selected apps, and I want to clone a game called MOE can change which obviously isn't already there,, [link] [comments]

Best app for moving from Android Posted: 05 Dec 2021 09:22 PM PST My dad just received his new iPhone and has had a terrible time transitioning all his photos, contacts, etc. from his old Samsung to the iPhone using Apple's Move to iOS app. Even the Apple store and AT&T store weren't very helpful. Is there a better app to use for the transition, and/or is there a trick to get Move to iOS to work better? [link] [comments]

Photos organization is annoyingly bad Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:10 PM PST As a mildly obsessive-compulsive iPhone 13 Mini convert, the latest iteration of iOS Photos app has me all sorts of frustrated. The 'Recents' album which appears first under 'My Albums' is one large dump of all the media on my phone, including, in some cases, media downloaded from applications. This would normally be fine, but there is no option to view only the photos/videos taken with my camera, separate from all the other downloaded/imported media. On Android, there is a single gallery with separate folder for media taken with the camera, along with each app having its own media folder. In iOS this appears to be selective e.g. if I download a video from TikTok it goes straight to Recents instead of its own album, but some apps e.g. VN video editor will export media to their own album. This makes it difficult to find content that I've downloaded amongst all my other media. I guess I should be grateful for the 'Media Types' gallery which sits directly under My Albums, although that too, does not have a 'Camera Roll' which combines photos and videos taken with the device camera. Again, it simply groups media together (regardless of where that media originated). I don't care for having my content sorted chronologically, as Apple does with Albums, nor do I care for searching for media using categories based on AI recognition, or People and Places. I simply want a gallery where my media is separated by the app where it originated. Is that so difficult for Apple to make? It honestly seems like as good as Apple made the iPhone 13 cameras, they aimed to make the Photos experience equally as bad. [link] [comments]
iPhone has stopped reading my SD cards? Posted: 05 Dec 2021 11:55 PM PST All of a sudden the import option when I plug in my lightning SD reader has gone. Nothing comes up in the files app either. Tried on my iPad and nothing happens. I assumed the problem was with the reader so I've bought and new one and it still doesn't work. Any ideas? I've checked in settings > about and the reader does show up in there when plugged in. I'm pretty sure it's nothing to do with the files as I use it every day and I've never changed the format of the files. Very frustrating [link] [comments]

Question about grouped tabs in Safari Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:23 PM PST I have created some sports tabs, entertainment tabs, news tabs, etc... but whenever I go into them, I will move through pages, add more tabs and make changes when I browse, and the group remembers these changes...forever. What I want to do is have the entire thing reset to the initial pages I selected every time I go back to it without opening it for awhile, but I don't know how to do this. Is there any way to create the group, but tell the system to load the initial pages selected every time I leave the grouped tab and go back to it? [link] [comments] |
