    Extracting Apple Watch iMessages

    Someone I know deleted iMessages that I need back on my iPhone. Thankfully, my Apple Watch still has those messages. I need to extract messages from my Apple Watch and have them on either my computer or iPhone to sift through. Is there any way to extract messages from my Apple watch? There was no backup on my iPhone that would help me out here.

    Notifications not working?

    I have a iPhone 12 Max Pro - everything was fine until i installed the ios 15 for the first time. Now ever since , the only notifications that pop up are texts & useless apps i barely use. My main apps i use NEVER pop up (twitter, instagram etc.) i've tried literally everything from restarting my phone (which works but only for like 30mins.) deleting the apps & reinstalling (worked for a few weeks then back to not working). I went to the settings & turned them off & on - no my DnD is not on. Do i need to just reset the phone completely? Do i need to go to the apple store?

    My wife Iphone13 Pro doesn't accept the "Connect To This Iphone Automatically" setting for any Airpods

    Her phone is on the latest IOS and her Airpods Pro have the latest firmware.

    When we try to change the "Connect To This Iphone Automatically" setting it's reverting the change. Here's a video of the issue.

    It's doesn't work with my Airpod Pro either. While both Airpods Pro are working just fine while connected on my Iphone Pro.

    Anyone had this issue and know how to fix it ?

    Just noticed it looks like an oil stain under the glass back of my iPhone. Anyone know what it is?

    The back of the case almost had a crusty substance so maybe a battery leak? I have no clue.

    I'm new to Mac OS. On Windows, you can scan your computer for virus or malware fairly easily. Is there something similar to Windows Defender on Mac OS?

    How do I put a MacOS update on a USB?

    Someone I know had their dead MacBook air come back to life, but the thing is, it's running MacOS Mavericks, so they want me to update it to the newest version this Mac can run, which is Big Sur, but the thing is, the only place we can meet up is the school, and the school has the worst internet you can get in this city, and there can be up to 600 people on the internet, so its extremely slow, and doing such a big update on that, not happening. I'm wondering if I can put the update on my USB SSD, and then just plug that into the macbook and do the updates quickly. All I have is a computer running Windows 10, but if needed, I could do a MacOS VM. Is this possible, and if so how do I do it?

    Can I use a Macbook Pro and 2021 iMac as a dual monitor setup?

    I apologize if this is a dumb question. I'm not super tech savvy in this regard.

    I have a 2021 24" iMac coming, and I have a 2017 Macbook pro. Can I use these to have a dual monitor setup? Like not just mirroring one screen, but have 2 windows on each screen etc?

    How do I do it if so?

    I have access to my account but I'm confused about whether I have or need a recovery key. Do you use it when you forgot your password? How can I tell if I'm created one?

    And does Apple use recovery questions like "what is your dog's name?".

    Sync data from band to Apple Health app

    Hello everyone. So, here is the thing. I own an old Samsung Galaxy band (Fit 2) and i am trying to sync the data with Apple Health app (steps, heart rate, sleep etc.). The problem is that it only syncs steps and nothing else. Their official app in the app store is completely useless and out of date. Is there a way (or a third party app that i can download) to transfer the data to Apple Health? I have enabled the " update health data" from settings>health>data access and devices, but I don't think it works correctly.

    iPad storage full despite erasing all contents. iOS 14.4

    Hey,

    My daughter asked me to update a game she has on her older iPad Pro 9.7 running iOS 14.4 but the storage was too full to update. I deleted a different game and to my surprise it still said too full. I deleted several which was way past the requirements for storage and it still failed.

    I went back to the storage screen and now the space was occupied with "other" instead of being free. No matter what I deleted then "other" would eat that space. I erased the iPad and to my surprise now it says other is using 25 gb and that the storage is full. I tried erasing it again and it is still doing the same thing.

    Any suggestions?

    Apps keep freezing on iOS 15

    I have an iPhone 12 mini with the latest OS (12.1.1) and my apps (both Apple's and third party) randomly freeze. I touch the screen and nothing happens. Force quitting the apps fixes it, but it's a bit annoying to have to do that all the time. I restarted my phone but without success. What would be my next steps in trying to fix this?

    Carbon Copy Cloner causing more issues than solving!

    I have been brought into a company that uses Carbon Copy Cloner (I have never used CCC before this point). At my job where we handle loots of footage and keep drives back up drives to ensure no footage or any other important data is lost. Carbon Copy Cloner, when it is used sometimes will copy files into the CCC safety net but not copy and sync them into the proper file director. CCC has also been creating duplicate files that it does not need to create based off of the date modified meta data.

    How can I use CCC in the most efficient way possible to ensure all drives are being synced properly without footage being lost into the safety net and ensure only the new work that needs to be synced transfers between the drives.

    MacBook Air M1 os 12.0.1 Random Restart

    Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me.

    My MacBook Air M1 running the latest software (at the time of writing) 12.0.1 randomly just restarted out of nowhere. When it was finished restarting all the apps I had open during the previous session were open where they were left off.

    Ideas? Quicktime won't play audio from AppleProRes 422 files

    I have an AppleProRes 422 file and the audio will not play in QuickTime. I only vaguely know what I'm doing and thought it might be related to codes? I have Final Cut Pro downloaded, I downloaded the additional content in FCP, and also downloaded the Pro Video Formats package 2.2.2. The audio works when I play it in FCP, but not in QuickTime, where I need to trim clips.

    Hi everyone , I have a problem with the imac 27" late 2009: recently after 20/30 minutes of operation the screen starts flashing and a strange buzzing whistle is emitted from the upper left side while it is turned off. Anyone have any idea what could be causing the problem? Thanks in advance!

    I erased everything accidentally trying to wipe my Mac, when I tried to boot it up it gave the question mark symbol so I did command R and clicked reinstall OS X but there's no drive to install it to, don't know what to do.
