Charging adapters charges everything except the one it came with

So I Bought a new iPhone X couple of hours ago, I get home I unpackaged everything download the apps I need and set the phone up. When I finished I wanted to leave the phone to charge so I plug everything in and plug in the and .. nothing, it doesn't charge so I try to test the cable with another phone. And it WORKS, so I test my phone with another cable and it also works ( btw I tested adapters and cables differently so I'm sure it's the adapter )

What could be the problem? If it's something I can't fix I'm gonna return it to the store tomorrow.

Battery draining overnight - Apple support not much help - thoughts are welcome

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:32 PM PDT

My iPhone X is still under monthly warranty. In fact, I had a battery replacement done once already, I think about a year and a half ago. Currently Settings > Battery > Battery health says it's at 97%. And an Apple remote diagnostic doesn't report any problems.

Last night was an example of the problem. When I went to sleep the battery was charged at 80%. When I got up it was down to 9% with low power warnings, and then died before I was able to plug it in.

I usually charge wireless, but in cases like this I will plug it in or it will take forever to charge up again.

In Settings > Battery nothing seems to be using a lot of power. Here are the first items on the list. Are these the last 24 hours?

    Screen on 3 h 29 min, Screen off 4 h 8 m

If that's since I went to bed it's really strange that it would report screen on for that long a time.

    • Words 2 - 17%
    • MapMyRun - 9%
    • App Store - 9%
    • Home & Lock Screen - 7%
    • Facebook - 7%
    • Mail - 6%
    • Outlook - 5%
    • Messages - 5%
    • Reddit - 4%
    • Google Photos - 4%
    • Photos - 4%
    • Amazon Music - 4%
    • Safari - 3%
    • LINE - 2%
    • MyFitnessPal - 2%
    • BBC News - 2%
    • Camera - 2%

    and so on.

It's also sometimes hard to charge past 80% because the iPhone goes into some "intelligent charging" mode where it decides it should stop charging at that point.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Replaced my battery a month after going down to 73%

    Posted: 02 Oct 2021 10:08 PM PDT

Finally replaced my battery, it served well for almost 4 years.

Noticed that iOS 15+ animations were stuttering before, and it doesn't anymore. I don't think id be upgrading my iPhone X anytime soon. Here's to another 4 years, hopefully 🤷‍♂

How about y'all? Sticking with it or giving up for a new one?

    iPhone X cashing?!

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 06:29 AM PDT

    Hey!

My iPhone X is about 4 years old and since a week I have the following issue.

Screen turns black. Phone doesn't react. Pressing the power button doesn't do anything.

I have to restart the phone buy using up, down, power button (hard reset) to boot up the phone again.

I've tried resetting all settings. Did not solve the problem. I've put the phone in DFU Mode and made a clean install of iOS 15 - I did not apply my backup. I still have the problem.

My Batterie health is at 80% (since about 8 months).

I called Apple Support, they did a diagnostic test - Support said that everything Hardware is OK.

He said it could be possible that the battery is damaged and may has voltage problems. I should chance it.

Could that be the reason? Did you guys ever had a similar issue?

Would like to get some advice!

    Thanks
