iPhone X doesn't seem to hold charge for long lately
iPhone 12Pro or 13?
Saw the iPhone 13 Pro today, and was taken aback by the flat edges
My iPhone X, which has always been fast, has been extremely slow since the 15.0 update. Am I the only one to feel that Apple f***ed my phone!?
Will the battery replacement improve my phone performance?
Is there anyway to upgrade to iOS 14.8 instead of 15?

I can't figure out why. I can go to sleep with it charge at 91% and get up in the morning and it's down to 20%.

During the night I may have checked email and some light things like that, including this post, a few times.

It's still under monthly AppleCare and I had the battery replaced once last year. Battery Health reports battery it's at 97%.

The data there doesn't show anything useful. There doesn't seem to be much background activity going on.

It does say the screen is bright, but it really isn't.

Any thoughts?

iPhone 12Pro or 13?

So, i love my IPhone X, i really do but the battery life is just really bad these days and figured it was time for a change, would you say the better choice here would be the 12pro or the 13? They are about the same price.

I went to Akihabara today and I saw the iPhone 13 pro.

It seems quite nice. Of course it's quite expensive, so I'm thinking about it. Apple Japan offers 24 monthly payments with 0% interest, so there doesn't seem to be an advantage in paying for it upfront. Except for the fact course that I would use gift cards.

The camera is really quite nice. Also the screen is a bit larger than the iPhone X screen. So is the body. It's the most noticeable side-by-side, but it's definitely larger. The screen is also nicer and brighter.

One downside is that it weighs 30 g more than the iPhone X.

I also looked at the iPhone 13 pro max, which is just a little more expensive. I was amazed that it actually fits in my shirt pocket, but it is considerably larger and heavier.

At night, when I'm laying in bed like I am now, I tend to hold the iPhone just in my left hand near my head. So the size and weight is a consideration.

One thing I didn't really care for was Apple's decision to return to flat edges. Apparently it's a thing and forums are filled with people for and against that. Most people seem to like it. I don't.

I'm surprised that design has so many fans.

To be honest, I couldn't stop thinking about it coming back from Akihabara, and found it depressing and maybe thinking of holding on to my X because of that.

But I suppose you can get cases with rounded edges, right?

Or I may just be practical and continue using my iPhone X.

Hi, I have an iPhone X and I was wondering if replacing the battery would improve my phone's performance. Ever since I upgraded my phone to iOS 15, there have been lags here and there. Battery health is 85%.

Also I've been wondering if you experienced some lags on iOS 15 or is that because I've quite old phone.

Is there anyway to upgrade to iOS 14.8 instead of 15?

I'm all the way back on iOS 12. As of this morning, my phone was giving me the option to update to 14.8 and I decided I was going to finally update once I got home from work. Im home now but the only option I'm given is to download iOS 15.

Is there any way I can get my phone to assign 14.8 again? I'd rather be on the last version of iOS 14 where most of the bugs have been ironed out than download 15 and possibly deal with an entire new generation of bugs.
