    Someone has been harassing me through text for days. I blocked him, but yet I'm still receiving the spam of texts. I blocked him through Imessage>his contact>Info>Block. I also went through Settings>Messages> Blocked Contacts, he's on the blocked list. I ALSO went through Settings>Phone>Blocked Contacts and he's on that list as well. I need this to stop, please help.

    Phone dims in dark scenes. Why?

    Iphone XR - Opened a message and it disappeared

    So a cute girl asked for my number today, she texts me a bit later, then I try to open it and it opens a different message for some reason, then when i click back her message disappeared :(

    Is there any way I can view my text/imessage history of who's sent me messages? Any help would be appreciated. I'm with rogers and they said they cannot show me my history :(

    4k 60 fps video transfer to windows PC in full quality possible?

    So i have an iphone XS i record video with the following setttings, 4k 60 fps, I have on high efficiency for the 1080 240fps slow mo, i have on optimize storage. When I try to download my videos from iCloud.com to my pc, it looks like its in 720p. Is there a way to fix this?

    Spotify interface icons are glitching sometimes for me (missing lower part). Need to kill app every time this happens to fix it. It’s getting annoying :(

    I have recently started a new job and it comes with a lot of responsibilities but they vary quite a lot and I am sometimes finding myself forgetting things.

    I have tried a few things, google calendars work well for meetings (workplace uses google suite so just sticking with it, plus slack tells me all my meetings in the morning), and then for reminder about tasks I have tried both the inbuilt reminders app and to-do-ist but neither have really been working well for me.

    I am thinking of getting an apple watch to further help with organisation but I wanted a good app for organising myself that required little effort to set up with reminders etc.

    What apps are you guys using for this kinda stuff?

    Edit: thanks all things 3 seems well recommended but i don't like the idea of spending so much to see if it works for me. Looking at reviews turned me to 'ticktick' though which seems really good for what I am after, a few more features that to-do-ist which is kinda what i needed.

    App Library

    What is the reason for the Recent and Suggestion folders in the App Library? To me they serve no function.

    Also, why can't we move folders around so they are in alphabetical order?

    Any way to take higher res screenshots?

    I'm trying to take take a screenshot of Eminem's Alfred's Theme video, but the screenshot is very low resolution, I get that it's YouTube I'm taking the screenshot from, but it doesn't look that bad in the yt app. I've tried AI upscaling but the results are bad. Image I'm on an iPhone 8 Plus

    Simple Calendar App that will just take notes. Just click on the Day and you can write whatever.

    Just switched to an iPhone after 10+ years of Android phones as my primary device. Love it.

    I got an iPad mini for the kids 7 years ago when my kids were toddlers and bought several child-focused apps and kids games then - using my current Apple Id.

    Currently I get suggestions in the app store for pregnancy and baby development apps. I would love to get suggestions more targeted at me as a 45 year old tech artist male.

    Is it somehow possible to tell iOS / App Store to reset or ignore what the Apple Id have been used for the past 7 years and start fresh?

    Maybe I just have to wait a bit and see if the suggestion algorithm figures out the new me?

If they don't, and these features creep into surveillance for things like political dissent, copyright infringement, LGBT imagery, or adult pornography — anything at all beyond irrefutable CSAM — it'll prove disastrous to Apple's reputation for privacy protection.

    He doesn't see it as a concern in it's current implementation, what do you guys think?

    IPhone 7s Plus Problem

    Need help with a software? problem, my speaker is greyed out and the sounds for cameras and videos I recently took aren't working.. I'm using a IPhone 7plus and I've heard this is a common reoccurring problem. I've tried hard resetting, network resetting, changing my iPhone,message,and FaceTime recieve and sending multiple times, also a other small problem whenever I FaceTime and call people it says I call from my email even though I've turned that option.

    Best recommendation media players? Any plans on Apple adding their own media player?

    I have switched from android to ios and one thing that is bugging me is that there isn't a media player that works from the files app that can play mkv videos and such. I was wondering how most ios users watch media formats that ios does not support by default? There seems to be so many apps and a lot of them are expensive for their full versions wow. While it is a bit disappointing that Apple doesn't have their own media player, I still like it... especially macos. I use IINA for mac but can't find a good version for my iphone and ipad. Also, any plans for Apple to overhaul the files app? It seems like there's so much potential but it is pretty basic.

    Getting Facetime video calls from people not making them?

    I was speaking on the normal phone (not FaceTime) and got a Facetime Video from my gf.

    Important call so I used the "reply with message" feature and hung her up while continuing in the phone call.

    I call her later and she says what's up? I say you called, she says I called.

    I checked her call logs and mine. She has no log of making a FT video to me, but got my "Sorry I cannot talk right now" text. Really really wondering what'd have happened if I accepted that call. She has no other Apple devices at all.

    My call logs show 2 incoming FT video calls from her on the same minute, 2 minutes after I started the other phone call.

    What the actual fuck? This is GENUINELY creepy.

    I can provide evidence and logs and whatever needed from both phones. Should I talk to Apple due to a probable bug? Thanks.

    I bought a used iPhone 6s from eBay
