| I wanna know the Battery Health Timeline kinda thing!! Posted: 22 Jul 2021 08:43 PM PDT After almost 4 months since i started using my iPhone 11, i seen serious battery health drops. Like after every 10-12 days better health was dropping by 1%. After spending 1 more month like this, i remembered i have many automations turned on. I had few automations running which writes down the date and time in the notes app whenever i connect my iPhone to charger and also at what percentage did i connect, whenever i disconnect my charger and at what percentage did i disconnect, whenever my iPhone gets charging past 80%, whenever my iPhone battery drops below 80%, whenever my iPhone is fully charged, whenever it drops below 25%, and i believe these were so many automations running together. I also had an automation which plays a ringtone whenever my iPhone was fully charged so i know it's charged up. But after seeing serious battery health drops i turned off all of my automations, and till then my battery health was 96% by the usage of just 5 months. But after that i seen it's somewhat stable than earlier. After that i also deleted my heavy games like COD and PUBG. But what happened is, the battery health used to fluctuate many times like from 94 to 95 and then to 93 and again back to 95 and again back to 93, but wait there were mostly some situations when i checked battery health through Apple support app, sometimes after an iOS update, or sometimes after something and the smarter thing is i checked battery health daily and whenever i see the change i used to take a screenshot and note it in the notes app. But now, it's 9 months since i started using my iPhone 11 and it's battery health is at 93%. So, I want to know what is the average battery health percentage of iPhone 11 users, or maybe overall iPhone users, after like 2 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 years of usage. I'm really afraid if my iPhone is too much drained and if it's not the time yet. I lost 7% battery health over the last 9 months of usage. | Posted: 22 Jul 2021 11:57 PM PDT A rock cracked my screen. I could still see my screen but the digitizer wasn't working. Tried to charge it via usb and it didn't work. The phone eventually shut off and would reboot to the logo. It would show it was charging when I used wireless. I reached out to someone on offer up who does screen repairs rather than doing it myself because I didn't want to wait for shipping. So before I gave the guy the phone I showed him the phone turned on but b at the Apple logo. The guy then took my nphone to repair it in his car. 10 nmins later He comes to tell me he couldn't fix my phone and says. There was a loose screw on the Battery and said he didn't know what was wrong with it but that lots of things were wrong. He gave me my phone with broken screen installed. He charged $100 and gave me replacement. Now my phone doesn't ' boot or power on with either screen.... any ideas? [link] [comments]  | ||

Was listening to it in the car afterwards and suddenly a song I didn't remember adding came on. I thought, no big deal, probably just accidentally dragged an extra song into my Music folder. Couple of songs later I encounter a song I know I don't have anywhere in my collection. I went to look through my collection tonight and there are over 100 more songs on my iPhone than what are in my Music folder. Eventually tracked down the extra songs to iTunes Media/Music which is a folder I've never used before. Any idea what's going on here? My phone app volume now all seems to be connected. This means if I turn up the volume for social media or even a music playing app it also turns on the sound for other apps like games that have ads. It's driving me crazy and I've looked into this and I've seen people saying this is just how it works. I know last week on my old phone it wasn't like this and now it is. Each app's sound was independent meaning I could have the volume up on Instagram but off on game apps. What can I do?! [link] [comments]  | ||
| How to switch data between 2 iphones with data already on them Posted: 22 Jul 2021 07:00 PM PDT My mom just got a new iPhone and doesn't like the size so she was wondering if we could switch iphones. I'm ok with a smaller phone so I agreed, but the thing is she already transferred her data to that iphone and I'm having trouble figuring out how to switch the data, apps, ect. to a phone with data already on it. I believe it has something to do with backing up data to icloud on both phones, then factory resetting both phones, then switching the sim cards. | Posted: 22 Jul 2021 06:03 PM PDT So I've had my 11 Pro since launch, so it's about a year and a half old, nearing 2 years. I was flying my DJI drone, using the phone as the live view in the controller, and the phone just randomly died. Had about 15% left. Charged it while the drone hovered, the phone turned itself back on and got to 20%. It died AGAIN at 15%, and had to do another quick charge. Finally was able to get the drone back, just in time for the phone to die again. After another charge I checked my battery health… it was previously down around the mid 80s, but it seems to have recalibrated itself back to 100%. Not sure how that happened, but I'm guessing my phone thinks it has about 15% more health than it does. Is there anyway to recalibrate this? I haven't done the latest 14.7 update, but maybe that would fix it? Any help is appreciated, thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 22 Jul 2021 01:26 PM PDT Ok, so just now I was scrolling through the home screens doing a few things, and, no idea how, but information from one of the widgets (Shopify) appeared in a bar at the top of the screen, approximately 1/5 of the screen, if that. I "think" if swiped up on the widget somehow, but I can't repeat it!! Anyone have any ideas? First time I've seen it happen…. Have looked in the "Tips" app and can't find anything relevant! Part of what failed was the FaceID and the repair place said that probably wouldn't fix that feature. I'm not super close to an Apple store, but can make the trip if this is something that can be fixed. | New iPhone 12, can't sign into my Google Account Posted: 22 Jul 2021 01:39 PM PDT Hi there, hoping someone can help here. I received a new iPhone 12 today and have gone through and set everything up. I'm now trying to add my Google Account so my contacts etc sync however I'm having trouble. I can sign into Google fine via Safari, but when I go to add my account in Settings it takes me to the Google login page. I login, it jumps to a screen with four options (Mail, Contacts etc) that are all grayed out and then jumps me back to the section where I choose which type of account I would like to add. I've done a little bit of digging and have turned off the "requestIdleCallback" experimental feature in Safari to no avail. I think this problem is related to the OS update. | Posted: 22 Jul 2021 11:18 AM PDT I might be facing perpendicular to a street, but the indicator (what's it name?) might show me facing 180 degrees in the opposite direction, parallel, etc. Rarely is it correct. It makes following walking directions annoying as it's hard to get started if the map doesn't correspond to what I'm actually facing. Is there a way to correct this? I've tried resetting location services by toggling the options. This has always been an issue for every iPhone and version of iOS I've ever used. [link] [comments]  | ||
