    Im looking for a mic that can either record audio on its own or record onto my iPad and that can split audio and has a mute button. Or even a good headset.

    I want to use it for capturing gameplays and clear audio for tutorials.

    Screen edges discoloration on iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch

    Hi everyone,

    I just got the iPad Pro 12.9 inch and I was wondering if it's a common thing for iPads to have a slight discoloration (only to be seen on white backgrounds) towards the edges of the screen (top-bottom-right-left). The discoloration looks greenish/blueish to me.

    Why isn’t there a Books widget?

    There's a widget for almost all the standard built-in Apple apps but not for the Books app. We should be able to add a widget that shows either the most recent 3 books we've been reading, or the current book and percent finished, etc. This seems like a no-brainer to me.

    Just installed the public beta and I already hate the Safari rework

    Seriously, why? Why did they get rid of the tab bar?

    Now I'm seriously conflicted what browser to use. Recently enrolled in MS Edgium Dev build and while that has improved a lot, it still lacks a freaking bookmark bar.

    And now Safari does this to the tab bar? Sure, extensions are nice, but right now there are only adblockers

    For context, I'm a Windows + Edge user

    Imagine if you took your ipad and pasted it onto/over your laptop screen, i want a case that would function like the laptop (preferably minus the keyboard). You could have it closed like a book on a table, open it up to any angle without needing a stand behind the screen.

    I don't want a stand because i want to easily use it on my lap/lying down and move it around without it collapsing.

    Havent had any luck finding something like this, has anyone come across something similar?

    I would like to download and set a bunch of my favorite wallpapers and for the lock screen. But I can find now way to import them in itunes, or set them other than the the default backgrounds. Is there a way to do this?

    Is it possible to monitor charge level remotely?

    I have an iPad pro 4th Gen. Is there any way for me to remotely monitor it's charge level? I don't have a computer from Apple, only one running Windows 10, an iPhone 8 and a Samsung android phone.

    How to make my iPad 10.2 8th Generation to recognise my Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1 TB HDD with Apple USB 3 to camera Adapter?

    I've got the Apple USB 3 to Camera Adapter where I plug in the lightning male port to the lightning female port of my ipad 10.2 8th generation. I can run a flash drive with no problems, although I have to keep my iPad on power from the socket.

    However, I can't connect my HDD like that. It's not recognising my HDD. (Can't see the HDD name popping up in the Files App of iPad). I have a lot of files in my HDD and want to view them in my iPad. Is there any way to recognise the HDD in my iPad?

    Anyone here replaced their iPad with a M1 Air for light browsing and media consumption?

    I wanted to see if any of you replaced / sold their ipad in favour of an M1 Air.

    I've currently got an iPad Air 4 but no mac or personal computer as my previous macbook got very old and I sold it.

    Thinking about selling the iPad as it feels redundant to have 2 devices that do the same.

    iPad as a car navigation

    Hi, I am considering using my Ipad air 5 as car navigation, on the dashboard with the CarOs app. I am thinking to use 4 magnets, 2 in the AC and 2 glued on the dashboard so they hold the iPad in 4 corners. Probably also a mask with 4 plates on it when I want to stick it on, so I don't need to stick the metal plates directly on the tablet.

    Has anyone tried this type of setup. I am wondering if maybe magnets can damage/ interfere with the wifi or something like that? Are the magnets powerful enough to hold it on a bumpy road? Thanks for any advice on this.

    Your observations after updating to ipados 15?

    Well, it's gonna be a small rant from my side so bear with me.

    I just updated my 12.9" iPad pro and to be honest, I'm still struggling with rearranging my home screen. It doesn't feel natural at all and now organizing widgets is much worse experience that I expected it to be. Well, lack of digital clock with date pinned on top left corner of the screen is also annoying.

    At this point I'm wondering what other problems and eventual improvements are.

    What are things you've noticed so far and have you found any ways around those?

    Logitech Combo Touch

    Hello all!

    I was wondering if the Logitech Combo Touch owners can help me out.

    I have an iPad 2018 11" and I would to use the new Combo Touch as my case.

    Logitech's website says it's compatible, but several reviewers are showing that the speakers are partially blocked.

    I've contacted Logitech's support and they told me it's compatible and the speakers is not blocked, but all the reviewers are saying that it is.

    Who should I believe? Does anyone has the 2018 model with the combo touch?

    I have created a smb share for streaming pdf

    I have school books in windows computer and had a lot of problem as i didn't want to save them on my ipad then whats i did was connect wifi directly to my laptop then created a mobile hotspot on the laptop and change the network adaptor setting to have a static ip and create a local account on windows to give access to all the pdf folders
    i tried many apps for pdf streaming but many didn't work as they would download all pdf on to the ipad but i found two free apps that allowed pdf streaming other than files app
    1. pdf pro 4(no annotation)
    2. pdf viewer( with full annotation and drawing support) and this app would sync it also

    there could be more apps but people can do it but these are once that worked(please tell me also)
    the hotspot is need to decrease the latency or one can use just the wifi network also
    No need of cloud or increased storage one can directly
