    Not sure if it's related to private relay or something else, but several times a day safari only returns blank pages and gives up entirely on doing anything until I reboot. Next time this happens I'll try switching to a VPN to eliminate private relay as a cause — but is anyone else seeing this?

    edit looks like it's private relay - toggling a VPN on fixed it, even after toggling it off again.

    (iOS 15 Beta 3) Safari keeps crashing when closing tabs on iPad Air 4

    If I tap the little "x" next to the website address, Safari tends to crash; however, when I zoom out (viewing all the tabs) and swipe to dismiss the tab, Safari's fine. Does anyone else experience the same thing?

    iOS 15 db3 - Screentime Issue - Read a couple of articles on Reddit yesterday, closed Reddit, but screentime has gone bananas with the domains. Anyone else experienced this?

    Do y'all like the new safari update? I really liked how it was before. The animations felt fluid and it made a lot of sense/was very intuitive to adopt quickly.

    With the beta 3 update it feels janky. The weird animation they try to add so the search bar feels part of the keyboard is weird. I always seem to get confused when typing then need to delete (cause I'm looking at the top of the strewn where my text is being predicted and such. Then there's no cursor when I try to delete). When you're going through your bookmarks when going to search on an already open tab,,, if you swipe down it swipes away the search bar (cause it's now randomly at the bottom) and that closes search completely whether you were typing or not.

    I got used to the entire safari overhaul immediately but somehow I'm still not used to this minor update. It feels (to me) like it moved back a step in the development process

    I've heard a few people talk about liking it. But I feel like it looks overall worse and the only functionality it brings is only having to move your pupils .5mm vs .75mm to see the keyboard when searching (if needed)

    For clarification: this is specifically about the beta 3 changes. Not safari in iOS 15

    IOS 15 Public Beta 3 Is anybody else having trouble with text to speech features?

    My text to speech reader keeps cutting out on certain words, there doesn't seem to be a pattern, but if I have the same text read more than once, it cuts out on the same words. I've restarted my phone about a million times and it doesn't seem to make a difference. It seemed to start skipping after I pasted some text copied from my Mac into the notes app, and then had that text read aloud.

    iOS db beta 3 FaceTime photos not saving

    For some reason facetime photos haven't been saving I've tried restarting phone, turning off and on FaceTime/iCloud photos. None of these worked if anyone else has this issue or knows a fix lmk

    Does SharePlay work only with music in Apple Music

    Does anyone know if you can play music you buy off the iTunes Store/upload to iTunes Match/sync to your device, or if you can only play the Apple Music catalog? Wondering because I've decided to move away from Apple Music and music streaming in general in favor of buying and owning music (mainly to hopefully cut my monthly spending some time in the future), and also because I have lot of music in my library that's not available on Apple Music or the iTunes Store in general (Bandcamp, Soundcloud, etc.)

    IOS 15 PB2 and PB3, Apple Music not working at all?

    it's just not working. i thought maybe because i needed to update to pb3, so i did, and nothing is playing. it just pauses and never plays. Is anyone else having this?

    Captive portal issues on iOS 15 Public Beta (3)??

    This may have always been a bug but I've only just now discovered it. In general I have never found captive portal style network logins to be terribly reliable on iOS. I find that too often the system's content blockers and security features break pages that were probably built by a 22yo wanna be tech nerd like me. However, this is a new case:

    I'm staying on vacation at a rental house that has an "open" network for guests to use. It uses a captive portal login page, which my brother (running iOS14) was able to log into successfully with zero issues. My phone (15.0 public beta 3) pulls up a blank page. My iPad (15.0 public beta 2) pulls up a blank page. I've tried turning off various iOS 15 network options like Private Relay. I've tried turning off auto-login and forcing a login in safari (which just times out; doesn't even pretend to load the page).

    What's even more frustrating is that I'm pretty sure if I had physical access to the router, that could troubleshoot the page and go from there. However, it's behind a locked closet door. I have access to the power for the unit and that's it.

    Pls, fellow beta testers, you're my only hope. Any ideas?

    [iOS 15 db3] App Library

    Why is the Maps app located in the "other" folder bin of the App Library? There's no way to change this and according to my report, no one else has this issue.
