I just bought my 12.9 IPad Pro M1 256GB and I'm considering buying DOS 2. I usually only play online games, so how is the multiplayer? I don't know anyone who is playing this game on iOS. Is there a difference between the two versions of Catan? Does anybody here think Desert Island Fishing should be ported to the 3DS Eshop? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:31 AM PDT (There is an official subreddit for this game but it has less than 10 members and one post from two years ago ._.) I used to play this game, but haven't for a while. Right now it's an IOS exclusive, but I think it would work great as a 3DS game. The two screens would work perfectly with that game, and it already has touchscreen stuff implemented. I'm asking this here rather than the 3DS subreddit since I know it's much less likely anybody there will have played it, as opposed to here. We do see games of the same quality (and considerably less) available on the Eshop, so something like that would fit right in. Is there a list of iOS games that can be installed on an M1 Mac? Posted: 26 Jun 2021 04:43 PM PDT So, I recently got a M1 MacBook Air through work and I've been trying out some iOS apps & games. Is there a definitive list of which iOS games can be installed on an M1 Mac via the Mac App Store? Or is there a way to search for just iOS games? Looking for a game like Stardew Valley (but not really) Posted: 26 Jun 2021 08:15 PM PDT Hey all, so I've done the rounds across countless gacha games for years (played FFBE, Another Eden, and DQ Tactics for a long time) and free games on the app store, done the rounds on apple arcade and couldn't really find something fun to play. Couple of months ago I decided to buy Stardew Valley and .. my mind was blown, it was such an amazing game that played so well even on a phone that I ended up playing it more than my PS4. What i really enjoyed about it however was not so much the farming sim, but rather :- 1) really easy to pick up and put down at any time, so if i have short bursts of time between meetings, or waiting for something etc. i can just start the game and play a little bit since it quick saves everytime you quit (a little buggy sometimes but generally ok) 2) not only can i play in short bursts, but if i want to sit down and have a long play session for hours, or on commute it's equally rewarding and fun 3) playing it feels super relaxing and while in the beginning you tend to feel rushed everyday, eventually it's really relaxing when you have a good idea how to go about every day, there's no sense of stress at all and if you really want to you can just restart a day or two. i've played many games like tower defense (from ironhide studios) and i just feel stressed and unfun every time mobs break through the setup and i gotta replay like 15-20 mins of the stage. 4) once you get a hang of the game, you don't need to have laser focus on the game and you can play it while multi tasking like watching news or commuting on public transport. i've played lots of games where it basically demands your undivided attention which many times i just don't have that attention to give 5) lastly it's replayability - i spent $6 and sunk at least 200 hours into it across 3-4 playthroughs and enjoyed every minute of it so it seems like a tall order but basically i'm looking for a fun and relaxing game then i can either pick up and play in short bursts or play for a long stretch if i want to. i'm up for any kind of game like free, paid, or gacha, and any kind of genre submitted by /u/templar817 [link] [comments]
