Trying to find a forgotten strategy game

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 09:53 AM PDT

Hey, I think I played that game more than 10 years ago, and can't remember the name or find it for the life of me. Any help appreciated.

Played it on an ipod touch 3, wasn't free and no in-app purchases.

Turn based game with square tiles, you move soldiers to defeat the enemy/reach an objective in a certain amount of turns each level/fight.

Progressing by going on "states" on a fictional map (resembling europe, with a central sea called 'mare nostrum' I think), unlocking more units.

A variety of units - foot soldiers, knights, archers, artillery etc (I think it also had buildings). Each unit had different damage and defence values which determine how quickly health gets from 100 to 0 and the unit dies.

There was also a sequel of that game with a more eastern/mythical theme - added units like wizards, monsters, desert riders etc.

I know it's a long shot, but I'll be glad if someone recognizes it and can link it up :)

So how is Divinity original sin 2 doing in terms of sales? This game was supposed to be a revival of AAA games in iOS right?

[Looking For] games similar to Trigger heroes or Archero.

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 03:30 PM PDT

    Title says it all…

Looking for a shooter that plays in portrait mode for one handed ply. I loved trigger heroes but the game hasn't been updated in a while. Archero was fun and all but wearing thin on me now. Anything similar to these games that would be recommended.

    Action Dungeon Crawler/Delver?

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 07:38 AM PDT

    Hi there,

I used to play a lot of mmorpgs but lately I haven't got the time for it. I always loved the way how you grind for gear via dungeons just to raid better dungeons and tackle tougher content.

Is there any game on mobile that emulates that feeling?

I just don't want something that plays like diablo and don't want to play something turn based.

    Any ideas?

Feedback wanted for a new game that a friend and I just put up on the AppStore

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 05:48 AM PDT

I could not find any specific place to post self-promotion on Saturdays so I am happy to move it if this is not the right place. Thanks. A friend and I just launched our first game less than a month ago on the AppStore. One user called it a cross between Tetris and a pinball. It is slow to start for learning gameplay but if you make it to 1000, it really gets moving and is challenging in an old-school way. It is called Tubes & Traps and I hope everyone will give it a try and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Baba Is You Mobile Performance & Review

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 03:16 PM PDT

I definitely enjoy a good puzzle game here and there, especially on mobile. I didn't even know about Baba Is You until it's release on the App Store this week! It looked extremely different than the usual fare I tend to see so I decided to take the plunge!

Now that I've played the game extensively, I wanted to share my thoughts about it (and the port's performance on mobile) with you guys. I cover these key points of the game:

    1. Art Style & Sound Design
    2. Gameplay
    3. Controls
    4. Monetization
    5. Verdict

If you have played Baba Is You, please leave your mini-reviews in the comments! The more info for inquisitive players, the better! I'm excited to hear your thoughts! Thanks!

Games XCOM, Jagged Alliance or Xenonauts

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 04:26 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

I am looking for a tactical games similar to one I mentioning above, where I manage my squad, research new gear and level them up.

Other games that come to mind are Into the Breach and Halcyon, but I didn't find those in app store. Only game that I am aware of that is slightly similar is FTL.

    Thanks for any recommendations.

    How to stretch your gameplay?

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 12:00 AM PDT

When I stream pubgm with omlet arcade there are black bars to the side. Hence I'm looking for a way to stretch my gameplay without a pc. I use a IPad Pro 10.5 inches. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just got a Apple giftcard, so If you'd have suggestions for games that cost money, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
