I'm honestly not getting over how good music sounds on spatial audio

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 02:30 PM PDT

On a good set of headphones, it sounds good. But on a solid 5.1+ sound system with a Dolby Atmos receiver, it's truly awesome. I feel like we finally are getting the promises of SACD at scale, with fully optimised multi channel audio and high dynamic range. I'd used simulated 5.1 in the past, but getting it straight from the source adds so much nuance and depth, it's striking. I'm rediscovering my music playlists, and I am already starting to focus mostly on what's available in Dolby. I know not everyone can afford the sound systems to make the most of it, but Apple really scored big on this as far as I'm concerned, and I can't wait for spatial to become the standard!

    AirPods/Beat Activation Lock

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 11:59 PM PDT

Every other Find My device can use activation lock, so why not add this to headphones/ear buds? Especially since Apple's are so expensive - more than some phones and Apple watches (AirPods Max - $550). It would definitely be a great feature for sales compared to other expensive brands- or to bait customers into an upgrade.

I think it would significantly reduce a lot of thefts and anxiety - which we all need in this world. ❤️
