    Battery Question

    My iPad mini 4's battery is sitting at around 66% according to coconutbattery which is accurate considering it only lasts around 4-5 hrs with only YouTube and safari. Is it time to replace the battery? Or potentially wait for a new one?

    How would Apple differentiate iPP and entry-level MacBooks?

    Now that they basically have the same chip, how do YOU think Apple goes about differentiating iPads and Macbooks in the future? Is it going to be primarily different softwares? Or some hardware differences as well?

    I personally would absolutely lose my mind for a MacBook with cellular, but I don't think that's going to happen [not anytime soon atleast].

    Anybody else all of a sudden getting ads on YouTube in safari even with Adblocker and AdGuard?

    Just today I find that I'm permanently getting ads. Seems something has changed. I've made sure they are enabled on the site and turned them off and on again. I've tried new tabs and new "windows" but nothing is working. Just wondering if others are having this problem.

    I am going to uninstall AdGuard now and then put it back to see if that helps. If it does then I will delete this thread. If it is still up in a couple of minutes then it means that didn't help either (as I expect it won't)

    Why MiniLED display is missing on the IpadPro11’’ ?

    Is there a technical limitation on the technology for the size? Is it a cost issue? Is Apple holding it for next refresh?

    I want to upgrade for the 1000 nits display, but can't sacrifice portability. I wonder if there are technical analysis out there. What do you think?

    Send an email, with an email attached? Possible in iOS on iPad?

    Quick question,

    I had to write an email and attach photos as well as other emails to the message before sending it.

    This turned out to be a bit of a nightmare as I couldn't figure out how to attach other emails that were also in my inbox, tried some online searches, that went through how to send attachments, but not other emails that were sitting in my native iOS Mail inbox.

    Is this possible on iPad and if so, how?

    I find it interesting why Apple puts “typical” next to the contrast ratio on the iPhone 12 PRO Max, but not for the new mini-LED iPad Pro 12.9”. Is Apple inferring that the full contrast ratio is only for HDR mode on the iPad? Thoughts?

    I’m a professional emailer and the iPad isn’t good enough

    I'm kind of tired of seeing recommendations for the iPad with people saying, "If you just need it for email and web, the iPad is great." All of the email apps stink. 90% of my job is email communication in a fast-paced corporate environment.

    • Mail's formatting options are extremely limited. Why the extra line break when making a bulleted list? My emails actually require a lot of heavy duty formatting.
    • The formatting menus are super buried. On Outlook for Mac, they are all on display at all times, so everything on the iPad takes 10 extra taps.
    • You can't even choose the system font when composing a message.
    • Mail can't show you the corporate directory (if you want to see who someone's manager is or who reports to someone)
    • Outlook for iPad constantly forgets where you were when you go back to it after opening something else.
    • Outlook's multi-windowing is extremely cumbersome (no quick way to take a message you are composing and make it a new window).
    • Outlook on the Web doesn't respond to touch/iPad cursor properly, plus then you don't see notifications. I had 10 emails highlighted that I wanted to move to a folder, but the move to a folder button doesn't realize I'm selecting it.
    • My job involves soooo much multitasking that I typically have 3-4 emails I'm composing at once. It is way too hard to switch windows on the iPad.
