Try these to truly appreciate the display of your iPad Posted: 16 May 2021 03:45 AM PDT There are tons of apps and websites we use every day but only a few of them are designed to be aesthetically pleasing to the eyes especially on the compact and gorgeous iPad display. • www.apple.com (of course). It's one of the best websites I've encountered. Apple does it just as great as their video ads. And I visit it from time to time just to enjoy the surfing experience even though I'm not planning on buying anything. • Pexels App. It's minimalistic with zero ads and the moment you open the app, it shows you a collection of high-quality images/short videos from various artists. Browsing the app is a pleasure and makes you feel like you're holding a device that's worth it just for the display. • Clarity Wallpaper App. A good wallpaper truly makes any iPad stand out. Although the default ones from Apple are top-class, the Clarity wallpaper app is one of the sources I found to provide images that are carefully selected to look great on your device. You get free wallpaper every day, and there are no ads! These are from my day to day use, truly made me enjoy the display of the iPad. The other times, I don't really notice it. There's obviously ads and recommendation algorithms in most websites/apps that are kinda distracting and sometimes annoying. If you had any experience that truly brought out the display of your iPad please share. [link] [comments]

Just bought an iPad, haven't used one in a while. Any tips? Posted: 16 May 2021 01:27 PM PDT Last time I used an iPad was around 2012 so I assume a lot has changed. I'm a PC Person, but I Apple for almost everything else (excluding my Credit Card, lol). Any tips, tricks or fun things I should know about? For context, I bought the iPad Pro with the Pencil and Keyboard for the full experience! Happy to be a part of the group. [link] [comments]
What case/cover are you all getting for your 2021 12.9 iPad Pro? Posted: 16 May 2021 03:44 AM PDT Looking for options. The combo touch looks wonderful but I can't really justify spending the $230 for it. [link] [comments]
How many Safari/Browser tabs can Ipad Pro handle before lagging? Posted: 16 May 2021 09:58 AM PDT Hey all. Considering whether to get an Ipad Pro (6gb version) to replace the missus' dead laptop. She mainly does a lot of work on browsers, and can have anywhere between 10-40 browsers open at a time. Sites she uses includes shopify, Google docs, and Google sheets. Is there a way to draw (using pencil) above typed text? Posted: 16 May 2021 11:23 AM PDT Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! E.g i can't write in Notes and then highlight/mark the words i've written If anyone could suggest a way to do this, please, let me know. Regards [link] [comments]
Opinion about iPad Mini vs Pro Max Posted: 16 May 2021 04:46 AM PDT At work I had a discussion with someone who says it isn't worth to buy an iPad Mini if you can get a big phone like the Pro Max. I told him that you would need to spend like 3 times the amount of an iPad Mini for a Pro Max. What is your opinion about it? I don't have a purchase intention I'm just asking for opinions. Posted: 16 May 2021 01:31 PM PDT What are some good indicators that my Apple Pencil's nib needs to be changed? And do I need to get the nibs directly from Apple or is it better to just get them 3rd party, say for example: Amazon or Wish? [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 May 2021 08:37 AM PDT Hi, I am going to replace my ageing 9.7" Pro with a new 2021 12.9". I use sidecar a lot with my M1 Pro and I think that the 12.9" would be amazing with sidecar but I have seen conflicting info regarding the resolution that the display runs at in sidecar mode. Can anybody please confirm the resolution it runs at and if somebody has pics of one in sidecar with a 13" MacBook that would be great as well so I can see how much extra space I will have. Thanks [link] [comments]
Is there a way to keep videos playing when Firefox is not opened ? Posted: 16 May 2021 02:07 AM PDT Hi, I always listen my music using a website that embeds Youtube videos or Soundcloud widgets. But as soon as I go from Firefox (where my music is played) to another app, the music stops. The only workaround i've found is to keep a small Firefox window opened aside (which is not handy at all). Is there by any chance a way to keep it playing the music while the app is not opened ? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Has anyone found a way around ads after the new update? Posted: 15 May 2021 09:06 PM PDT Both AdGuard and AdBlocker no longer block ads for me. I never realized how many ads were in every youtube video. Literally getting 3-5 ads per 10-15 minute video. What is your solution to this and is there now or will there be a way to stop getting ads? Perhaps even with a shortcut, if possible? [link] [comments]
Why the heck am I receiving so many Simply Piano ads? Posted: 15 May 2021 08:18 PM PDT I bought his iPad Air 2020 last month. This is my first iPad. I made a fresh Apple ID to use on it. I downloaded some apps on it to get started which included some productivity apps and games. One of the games was that one where you have to tap piano tiles as fast as you can (kinda like subway surfers). It's called piano tiles. I don't even like piano. I just downloaded that game as it was a fun and classic game. I uninstalled it the very next day. Then I started receiving simply piano ads everywhere. Every single YouTube ad was simply piano. While playing games, their ads were simply piano. This trend continued for about a week and then these annoying ads finally disappeared. Fast forward to today because for some reason these ads are appearing again on YouTube. Every single fucking ad on YouTube is of simply piano. Out of the probably thousands of things google knows about me, they think I like piano when I don't know or care about it. On my android phone, I don't receive these annoying ads on YouTube with the same google account. What can be the reason? Does YouTube automatically assume you like piano if you have an iPad?
