    Orange mic icon appears?

    I've noticed I have an orange mic appear at the top of my watch face. I've looked online and apparently it means the mic is being used in something like a phone call for example. However when I'm at work I don't have my phone on me and yet the the orange mic still appears sometimes throughout the day. Any reason why?

    I just recently looked at the VO2 Max information on my Apple Watch and was a bit surprised to see it reading below average. I am 32 years old, healthy and have a steady (but not intense) workout routine.

    I tried to do a bit of reading and it seems as though this estimate is really only accurate for outdoor walks as well as runs. I could not find particularly reliable information though.

    I almost exclusively record biking workouts (indoor and outdoor) and am wondering if this is throwing off the algorithm.

    Also, when I do record outdoor walks as workouts I typically have my 30 pound toddler strapped to my back, which I'm sure would cause issues with the calculations.

    Does anyone have info on this?

    Currently I have the standard Apple Watch Sport Loop. I am considering buying the Apple Watch Solo Loop but am curious as to if it's worth it. I really love the simplistic idea of it, but am worried about it's longevity. I've heard reports of it stretching. Solo Loop owners: has the band stretched over time for you?

    I live in a humid climate and I'm a pretty active person, so I'm also concerned about the breathability of the Silicone Solo Loop (non-braided). It seems to me that the consensus is that the braided solo loop is a better choice as it dries quickly and is relatively breathable. Which band do you suggest; Braided, Non-Braided or neither?

    Any other thoughts on the solo loop?

    OK, I know I'll sound rather thick, on this one, but I cannot find conclusive information that I can actually understand without testing it.

    Setup:

    • iPhone12 eSIM: Carrier A
    • iPhone12 physical SIM: Carrier B
    • Watch6 eSIM: Carrier A (I haven't set this last one up yet but it'll become apparent if you keep reading)

    If iPhone is not connected to Watch, and WiFi is not available, will I be able to receive calls from Carrier B?
