    The tweak

    So, it's pretty obvious from the title: it brings back the nice little textured background from iOS 13 to iOS 14. Works with both light and dark mode. Supports all jailbreaks and all devices.

    Have you ever wanted to change the screen resolution of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, but people told you to not mess with system files or your resolution as it could send your device into an actual boot loop? With Re:Scale 2 you can. It's safe to use and the resolution is only applied while you're jailbroken.

    Re:Scale 2 supports every resolution of devices that run iOS 8 or later:

    Note: Not every resolution may be compatible with every version of iOS.

    What makes Re:Scale 2 different from tweaks like Upscale/Re:Scale 1, LittleBrother or SystemInfo?

    • Upscale (and Re:Scale 1) persisted the changed resolution in a file that is read by iOS even when not jailbroken, which could lead to a boot loop if an incompatible resolution is applied. Also, this tweak is hasn't really been updated since it released back in the days of iOS 8, so it only includes resolutions from iPhone 4s up to iPhone 6 Plus.
    • LittleBrother was basically only supported from iOS 8 to iOS 10 and hasn't received any update ever since. It was a paid release, and only allowed the user to choose between 3 Display Zoom modes on iPhone 6 and 6s.
    • System Info's resolution changing portion works similar to Upscale, only that the persisted change is reverted after applying a resolution, so you have to apply this resolution manually every time after reboot.

    Re:Scale 2 works similar to LittleBrother as it hooks into the process responsible for doing "framebuffer magic" (aka backboardd). Instead of loading the resolution from com.apple.iokit.IOMobileGraphicsFamily.plist, the values are overriden by Re:Scale 2 at runtime, so the resolution is only applied while your jailbreak is active. Additionally, if you're running iOS 11 or later and get the "Red Status Bar" bug (😳 rdar:45025538), you can set an appropriate Status Bar right in the preferences pane.

    If you have set a higher resolution and your device is rebooted, it is recommended to rejailbreak with tweaks disabled ("Safe Mode" in checkra1n) and disable Re:Scale 2 using iCleaner before rejailbreaking again with tweaks enabled.

    Currently known issues:

    • You may experience a higher battery drain when using a higher resolution.

    Description

    This auto removes your 2FA short messages that are sent to your phone. I constantly have to login day after day to my work website which plugs my phone up with multiple 2FA messages. Over a week I have 50+ messages just for codes. NoMoreShortCodes baby. Shortcodes are defined as sender with 7 or less digits.

    What does it do

    Whenever it detects a shortcode sent to your phone, it will automatically delete it after a set time specified.

    Options to configure

    Enabled - Enable this to well uhh.. enable the tweak? Duh

    Agree To Terms - Enable this for an agreement of terms to use this tweak. You have to agree to terms in order for the tweak to be on.

    Seconds before delete - How many seconds before the message expires

    Additional Information

    When you install the tweak, a backup of your sms will be created in /var/mobile/Backups/sms.db for whatever reason that you need it. It will not go through your current texts and delete them. It will only parse the new texts that you received. There are 3 different qualifiers to make sure it doesn't delete random texts. If it does not work on first install, please reboot your device and rejailbreak.

    • The number has to be 6 digits long.
    • The text has to be a SMS
    • The sender cannot be in your contacts

    [Discussion] The invention of iSecureOS could lead to worse malware

    It seems the invention of this first of its kind tool has triggered a back and forth war between malware developers and the single anti virus developer.

    While it was great for pirates to have this tool at first, I feel it'll lead to people engineering more and more advanced and stealthy malware.

    Previously, malware devs would make something sloppy and if you were smart, you could clean up your phone and move on. It would affect the masses of pirates that were novices, but could never go under the radar for everyone.

    This move has pushed for innovation in malware and more complex trickery than just installing a secondary deb.

    What are people's thoughts on this and am I wrong? If so, how?

    This is not intended as an attack on the iSecure devs, it's a great piece of work. Just an interesting turn of events

    [Update]AnimPlus v2.2 - Fixes wake/sleep/folder/icon fly in animations + smoothness!!

    Another day, another coffee (x10), another update. AnimPlus is the successor to AnimationsBeFastPlus which allows you to take control of your animations on the springboard and in your apps! You can speed them up, slow them down or just disable them.

     

    Change log:

    • Fixed "Disable icon fly in" Toggle.
    • Fixed folder animation settings not working.
    • Fixed "Wake/Sleep animation speed. (Set to 0 to disable the animation completely!)
    • Made folder animations a lot smoother! (Including blurred background)
    • Removed redundant code.
    • Made a few changes that will help with adding presets in future update... (Shh... its a secret)

    Smoothing animations at higher speeds is still being worked on and adding options to disable them all together.

     

    AnimPlus v2.2 has been submitted to Packix and should hopefully be available within 24 hours. :)

    Hi,i recently asked about setting up access points without a password, thanks to everyone who answered, I found hostapd.conf file in it there is a configuration of my access point, but when I change it and enable the access point, this file changes. I'm wondering where this file gets this data from, I would like to change it, from wpa_2 to none
