Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion - What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend? Posted: 28 Feb 2021 04:00 PM PST Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles! As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store! To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default. [link] [comments]
Does anyone remember old tower defense games for ipad around the early 2010s?? Posted: 01 Mar 2021 06:01 AM PST I was still pretty young so i don't remember a lot... this one game i played had very bad graphics but also it's never boring. Well imagine carrot fantasy but monster-ish like you gotta protect this door (i think?) from vampires, ghosts, etc. And when these things die, they make weird sound effects like "oyoyoy" or "waahh" 😂😂😂 it's not really well-known tho but we played this back when ipad was still sorta new. I wish i could post a pic for easier identification but i couldn't find anything about it :((( [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Mar 2021 06:56 AM PST Hey! YEARS ago I used to play this game, and I have not been able to find it since. In the game, you would fly through a fixed path through space, and shoot other shops and the terrain. The game was all 3D, and the camera was placed behind the ship. You would control the ship by dragging it, very similar to Super Cobra in that regard. If anyone could help, that'd be great :)) [link] [comments]
Are there any games that play like a tabletop starship minis game? Posted: 28 Feb 2021 06:00 PM PST There are tons of tabletop starship minis games: Starfleet Battles, Full Thrust, Starfire, Babylon 5 Wars, etc. I'd like to be able to play a game like that on my iPhone. Is there anything out there, even just in the style of a tabletop minis game? I'd even take a web game if it's playable on my phone. [link] [comments]

Looking for iOS game suggestions Posted: 28 Feb 2021 11:24 AM PST Need a suggestion for an iOS game that I can pickup and put down, a one time purchase, or Apple Arcade, would prefer something in the rpg realm, I'm playing fire emblem right now and that fits the bill, I just want something else as well, thanks! Using PS4 controller without turning on the console Posted: 28 Feb 2021 01:25 PM PST Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been discussed - I couldn't find it in the search. Does anyone know how I can use my PS4 controller on my iPad without turning on the PS4 console when I turn on the controller? Thank you :) [link] [comments]
Online co-op, kid friendly games Posted: 28 Feb 2021 12:47 PM PST Hi! During the pandemic I've been using Roblox as a means of staying connected with my nieces (4 and 7). We play at least once a week and it's been pretty fun. Roblox is great but I'm wondering what else is out there that might also be enjoyable for the three of us to play together. Preferably something without constant ads, I'm more than willing to buy an app or pay for ad removal if its fun enough. Their favorite Roblox games: Adopt Me, Brookhaven, Royale High, Fashion Famous, Horse World, Hide & Seek, Epic Minigames, SharkBite, Tycoons. I'm aware of Minecraft and we might try that together, but does anyone have other recommendations? Suggestions for more good Roblox games we can try together would be great as well. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
