I'm wanting to record up to potentially 6 hours of 4k video on my iphone and wondered is there anyway to do this? I'm thinking that because video gets stored directly onto your phones storage first, that I may get an hour or so into filming and will get an alert that I've run out of space. Android can utilize the Google clock to turn on Pandora shuffle as the alarm and you can snooze it and it runs in the background. Bluetooth speaker instantly pauses playback? Posted: 13 Mar 2021 05:46 AM PST I am connected to my Bluetooth speaker (Ultimate Ears Wonderboom2) and try to, for example, play a podcast on Apple Podcasts. As soon as I press play, a second later the playback is paused. When I then press play again all is fine, but the first 'play' thus always results in a 'pause' shortly thereafter. Is happening with all apps (Spotify, Apple Music, Podcasts etc.) but only on certain Bluetooth speakers (that do not have additional settings I can configure). On for example Sony Bluetooth headphones all works as intended. Already factory resetted the Bluetooth device, deleted / re added in iOS, restarted phone etc but to not resolve. Anyone have trouble displaying screen time? There is no underlining if I'm using the third-party keyboard SwiftKey, nor is there if I am using the Belkin Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad. Photo base mixed up when selecting attachment on iOS Posted: 13 Mar 2021 12:37 AM PST Hi, some time ago I have imported my whole huge photo database to iCloud Photo Library. I experience an issue where the photos are completely mixed up during attachment - instead of being chronologically placed, like it was before importing everything else, they just form a randomly aligned list without any chronological order. Everything is fine in Photos app, they still have their timestamp and appear as needed if I sort them by year, month or anything else, but when I see all entire photo previews during Attach Photo (in a messenger, for example), they are mixed up (which, as I already said, was fine and in chronological order before I imported all my stuff). Is there anything to do with this? It's very inconvenient, since the photo library is very large. I also have a Mac if there are any useful apps for solving this. App Store region issue (UK) Posted: 13 Mar 2021 04:23 AM PST I just upgraded my phone in the UK with EE to the iPhone 12. (I've had android for years). I've downloaded a bunch of apps from my old phone,but was unable to even find some apps in the App Store. By googling the apps, I could click a download link but it would pop up saying 'this app is not available in your country or region'. I then googled how to change my region, where I realised its set to the UAE. After changing to the UK I was now able to find the the apps but when I tried to download them it said that I was not able to use the App Store and I have to use the Emirati App Store instead. Is there a resolution to this? It's not like a bought a second hand phone or from some unknown source. I bought it from the biggest network provider in the UK. iPhone automatically sent out a text. Is this a glitch or am I hacked? Posted: 13 Mar 2021 03:55 AM PST My iPhone tried sending a text responding to a promotional message that my cellular provider sent me today. I did not send the text. The text did not go through and was marked as "not delivered" in a green bubble but is still visible on my iMessage. The message it tried to sent out was a series of numbers. There were other weird things that were happening on my phone before this like apps crashing and black flashes when I facetime. My iPhone 8 is not jailbroken and I had just updated my iOS a couple days ago (14.4.1). I am thinking of factory resetting my phone after backing everything up. Does anyone know what this is? Will jailbreaking an iPhone 5C make it compatible with IOS11? Posted: 13 Mar 2021 03:25 AM PST Long story short my mum has a 5C. It's been sat out of battery for ages. She's now in the position where she's quite dependent on it, but because it can't update to IOS11, she can't use it. Apparently there was an initial update that WAS compatible but if you missed it then you'd never be able to access it again. The phone is now permanently out of service and doesn't connect to the carrier, which I'm sure is something to do with the IOS needing an update. Can a jailbreak get round this? I have an iMac Catalina 10.15.7 and iPhone 8 14.2, and a few times in the past few weeks I've had this weird problem with my email, where the actual email comes though and appears briefly, and then immediately disappears. Then I can't find it anywhere . Not in saved, not in any folders, not even coming up in searches of the mailbox. I notice that it happens on my iPhone too, so that the mail I just saw with my own eyes is nowhere to be found. This is happening with just a few emails from one particular person when she sends to my yahoo or aol email accounts. It's really weird, like it appears or it seems to want to refresh somehow and then poof it's gone The really weird thing is that when I log into AOL and Yahoo directly, the email isn't there either. But I just saw it on my desktop Mail app or my iPhone . And if I ask the person to resend, they resend it with the older timestamps so I am certain it was sent and was lost across both AOL and Yahoo website directly, including my Mail program, and my iPhone. It is not in deleted, trash, spam. Just nowhere. Not even coming up in searches. It's happened a few times now on super important emails. And just from one person now that I think about it. But that person forwards it to me and can prove that they sent it to me. In the meantime I'm having this person send to gmail and that has been working, but any ideas what I can do? I had a 7 Plus for four years until it finally started showing it's age by randomly not being responsive. I finally decided to upgrade to the 12 Pro Max and honestly just wish I had a 7 Plus again. WiFi drops randomly many times throughout the day, "Hey Siri" rarely works, I get all kinds of random autocorrects when typing, and etc. My 7 Plus just worked and for years.
